Steigenberger Hotel de Saxe

The hotel was in the center of old town near the Frauenkirche, and many fine restaurants. It was also walking distance to the Zwinger, and the large shopping mall called Altmart Galerie. the hotel is about ten minutes taxi ride from the Bahnhof. Our room was clean and spacious. We chose the Superior double room which had a refrigerator, and hot water kettle for coffee and tea.

2 night Dresden visit. Hotel location is A1. Very good breakfast, think I was in an upgraded room, very spacious 5th floor with partial view of the Square. Clean, good size safe, reasonable bathroom.

Hotel location could not be better. Great restaurants in walking distance and close to all major tourist attractions. Hotel was super clean and staff very friendly! Definitely would stay there again!

Location was great as well as the staff. However, we were underwhelmed by the room overall. It did not represent what we expected from a 5 star hotel. We had dust all over the surfaces, a ripped bed sheet, and no robe or slippers (however we received them quickly once requested). The bed was rather small and uncomfortable. And while not the hotels fault, it was very noisy if you opened the window but closed window meant stuffy room with no air circulation.

Great hotel with extremely helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again!!

Great place to stay, the only issue we had was the pillows were to soft for our liking. But we are finding the same issue everywhere.
