We stayed here for a week. We were a family of 4. My main criticsm was that the hotel was on steep slope. We were first in rooms 511/512. We always had to call reception for a golf buggy/ car to take us to the main hotel and back. was ok at first but got tiring so we requested a change of rooms and got 211/212. I did try walking back to our room on 5th floor one day and my legs were on fire!! Most people wore trainers and only the brave wore heels! Our shower was a bit disappointing because it was not enclosed. It had a 3 foot fixed screen so water everywhere and the shower head you had to hold because the bracket was hip height. So you couldn't have a long shower. The rooms were a high standard though. We enjoyed the food even though others have said negative. The restaurants you had to prebook so do this asap when you check in because the food is excellent. The toaster is very very slow. The T bags were very weak so take Yorkshire Tea bags if your from UK. Get to the island restaurant when it opens for lunch/dinner early because some of the food does dry out under the heat lamps. The greek deserts were delicious! The beach was a let down because it wasn't a sandy beach. When you walk into the water, there were smalls rocks and pebbles so wear beach shoes or teva style sandals. They had good cocktails in the beach bar but only cold cheese rolls and other snacks from the fridge. Would have loved a toasted sandwich or chips or something hot. Overall 8/10.

Stunningly beautiful property. However, I was not impressed by the inability to get a reservation at the restaurants, which made us eat at the buffet all except for one night. Was also upset by the cleanliness of the main pool. It turned my white swimsuit green and ruined it. Not worth the price in my opinion

"Fabulous experience! Will definitely consider going there again...."

9.0

We booked the Sapphire Zen Queen Suite with Shared Pool which is part of the Cool Living program that grants you access to the A-La-Carte restaurants and the infinity pool at the top of the cliff (Greco Levante). You should defentiley book the suites to be part of the program. The hotel is very peacful and quite, not crowded (especially in the cool living program area). The staff is super nice and friendly, the facilities are great with Grab N' Go drinks around the compund and all included alchoholic bevarges all day long. The hotel also offers a very cute private beach with a bar and other facilities just ~100 meters from the reception.

The hotel is built on a mountain cliff which is super stip, therefore, in order to move around (especially for the suites) you need to use the shuttles/buggies which can sometimes make you wait. The food is good, nothing out of the ordinary. I would prefer if the hotel had more traditional greek cuisine.

"Disapointing"

4.0

Staff were really helpful generally. The views were great from our room.

Food was awful. For a 5 star hotel we were really disappointed. The booking system for the restaurants was a challenge. As soon as we arrived, you could not book before, we were given options for two of 3 restaurants but my husband was so Limited due to a gluten allergy he ended up with chips lettuce cucumber and other bits of salad each meal. Every dish with a sauce was said to be containing gluten and even if we asked if the staff could check with the chef they just said it was best not to try it. Most food was cold and dry. Simply not of the standard you would expect. Fried eggs were all covered in oil and cold. If something ran out it was not always replaced. Desert choice often limited to a cake a pudding and some poor quality sorbet or icecream.

"We enjoyed our stay,"

9.0

Strongest point: staff. Location is amazing, hotel facilities too. I do suggest booking asap restaurants, they do make a difference. All-inclusive menu/drinks are ok, sticking to classic cocktails and even the wine options are decent. In overall I did like the hotel.

The hotel location is amazing, but I strongly recommend using the main road to get there. GPS might suggest alternative routes (as it did with us) and we ended up on a rocky, difficult road. Thankfully, we had rented an SUV and managed to make it, but it could be a real issue, especially since getting back to the main road the same way is tricky. The layout of the hotel stretches from the very top of a hill down to the beach. Guests staying in the VIP area are at the top, where there’s a beautiful bar and upscale facilities..but every single time you want to go to the beach, you need to call for a hotel car. While there are many available and they usually arrive in minutes, it still creates an annoying dependency. The restaurant booking system is unnecessarily stressful. Even after arriving, we found many restaurants already fully booked, which made the experience frustrating. The beach itself is average not quite the paradise we were expecting. I clarified above that staff is a strong point because they helped us, but no point of having this methodology if then it does not work.

"Great vacations"

10.0

An exceptional stay in a true Cretan paradise! Elounda – Curio Collection by Hilton is simply outstanding. The location is breathtaking, the architecture blends beautifully with the natural surroundings, and the peaceful atmosphere invites you to relax from the very first moment. Everything is tastefully designed and impeccably maintained. From the warm welcome to the smallest attentions throughout our stay, the service was flawless. The entire staff was incredibly kind and professional — always ready to assist with a smile. A very special thank you to Chrisa, who truly made a difference. She was supportive, helpful, and incredibly warm, going above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. Her genuine care and kindness touched us deeply. We left with unforgettable memories and are already dreaming of coming back. Highly, highly recommended!

"Absolutely Perfect Stay - Best I Had in Greece!"

10.0

Everything about this hotel was amazing – top-shelf alcohol, a professional and friendly staff, and a stunning private beach with a fun bar. The food was outstanding, from chef restaurants to the buffet and all-day snacks. Spa was outstanding too. A truly relaxing and flawless vacation experience. Can’t wait to come back!

The bathroom in the room was a bit small. But thats seriously the only thing we disliked.

"Mixed Experience: great staff, clean rooms, but some djsappointments"

9.0

The staff was very kind and helpful. When we asked to change our room, the lady at reception quickly arranged a new one with a great view, and it was clean and smelled nice. The room was cleaned every day. We enjoyed our stay overall, and the bartenders were amazing — they definitely deserve a raise. The atmosphere was good once we settled into the new room.

When we arrived, we got a room that smelled strongly of toilet chemicals. After one night, the smell changed to something like pee, which might have been from the bathroom or the outside path. The view from the first room was not like the one shown on Booking. Our “all inclusive” didn’t cover everything we expected — there was a higher level called Cool Living (not available on Booking)that included more drinks and an extra bar. Towels were changed every day even if we left them on hangers, which didn’t feel very environment-friendly. There was no water dispenser, so every time we needed water, we had to take a 0.5L plastic bottle. We hope they recycle them. The food was good quality, but there was no variety — we stayed 11 days and it was almoust the same food every day, which got boring.
