De service was zo ongelofelijk vriendelijk. Ze deden er alles aan om je thuis te voelen. Ze dacht super met je mee om jou verblijf ultiem te maken.

Vrij weinig. De bedden vonden wij wat aan de harde kant.

Everything was perfect the check-in the staff the food and the property amenities. Outstanding place all is prepared for you to relax and have a great time. We requested a room change for one with a better view and they agreed and help.

Loved the location, hotel facilities, food was excellent and plentiful, staff were superb (especially Alex on the bar).

Only issues I would call out are rooms are small, bathroom not great in that the shower does soak the whole bathroom due to the setup and also when reporting issues to reception like lack of toilet paper or requirement for towels these were not always followed up on and I had to chase.

⸻ Zu viele Gäste für zu wenige Mitarbeiter. Der Service ist sehr schlecht. An der Bar muss man etwa 15 Minuten auf ein Getränk warten, weil nur ein Barkeeper für rund 10 wartende Gäste da ist – und obendrein arbeiten sie sehr langsam. Dasselbe gilt auch für die Restaurants: Auf allen Buchungsplattformen wird „All-Inclusive mit Restaurants“ versprochen, aber tatsächlich kann man während des gesamten Aufenthalts nur einmal in ein Restaurant gehen – nicht täglich. Als Ausrede heißt es: „Das Restaurant ist ausgebucht“. Doch jedes Mal, wenn wir uns selbst davon überzeugt haben, waren höchstens 3-4 Tische belegt, der Rest war leer. Als Alternative bleibt nur das Buffet – aber selbst dort wurden wir dreimal abgewiesen, weil es zu voll war und es keine Sitzplätze mehr gab. Das Hotel verdient höchstens drei Sterne. Von außen sieht es vielleicht aus wie ein Fünf-Sterne-Hotel, aber der Service und zusätzlich die Qualität des Essens sind wirklich schlecht.

Alles war duchschnittlich, nichts wirklich schlecht. Essen im Hauptrestaurant war abwechslungsreich. Die Pools waren nur wenig gechlort und der Strand war mit ausreichend Liegen bestückt, die auch bequem waren. Klares Wasser im Meer und ruhige Lage. Personal sehr nett.

Zwei Arten von "All-Inklusive" die vom Zimmerpreis abhängen: Zugang zum "Cool Living"-Bereich oben am Berg, haben nur die teuren Zimmer (kein Hinweis auf Booking.com). Restaurants: 6 beworden, tatsächlich nur 3 Restaurants: Abendessen für alle nur das Buffet Hauptrestaurant und das "Yellow Sea"/"Greek Pita" Sushi-/Pita-Restaurant. Nur Mittags: "Vatanee". Buffetrestaurant ok, allerdings kein "Show-Cooking" (obwohl angekündigt). Also nix frisch gegrilltes oder morgens Omelette. Sushi im "Yellow Sea" ist lecker. "Greek Pita" ist ebenfalls im "Yellow Sea", man bekommt nur eine andere Karte für verschiedene griechische Fladenbrot-Varianten. "Vatanee" ist letztlich der Außenbereich der Bar und kein Restaurant. Die Auswahl ist bescheiden und unnötig auf exklusiv getrimmt. Ärgerlich: Tisch spät reserviert, muss man auf das ausweichen was noch da ist. Und das war nicht so unsers. Für "Cool Living"-Gäste kommt "Greco Levante" dazu mit Pizza und Pasta (wie der Name schon vermuten lässt... hahaha). Zimmer: Unser Zimmer (123, Tropical Nest mit Zugang zum Gemeinschaftspool) war winzig. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Die Bad-Tür ließ sich nicht schließen, Duschkopf kaputt, Bad nach der Dusche unter Wasser. Licht im Bad flackert, Fußboden im Bad war widerholt nicht sauber. Schminkspiegelbeleuchtung defekt. Personal in den Restaurants: Die "Servicekräfte" hauptsächlich Hilfskräfte. Obwohl viel Personal da ist, wartet wartet auf den Wein und man bekommt nicht nachgeschenkt oder wird gefragt ob man noch Wein haben will. Ein Glas muss reichen. Lage: Es gibt einen Shuttleservice mit mehreren Diesel-Fahrzeugen, der ständig zwischen den Zimmern weiter oben und der Rezeption verkehrt. Den ganzen Tag und die halbe Nacht quälen sich die Autos an den unteren Zimmern vorbei den steilen Berg hoch. Laut und mit viel Abgasen.

The staff at this accommodation were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room offered a beautiful sea view, which we thoroughly enjoyed each morning. The variety of food and drinks available was impressive and catered to many tastes. Additionally, our room was clean, spacious, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

When we rented a car from Heraklion airport, we ran into a bit of trouble with Google Maps, which led us to an impossible route that brought us to the back of the accommodation. It was a steep hill with no proper road, so I highly recommend staying on the highway until the end to arrive safely at the front entrance. Another minor issue was the shower in the room, which was quite small and a bit dated.

• My husband tried to reach the hotel by email for assistance, after 1-2 mails they stopped answering. 2 phone calls, returning emails, nothing helped. • We booked the most expensive room with Cool Living Club access, but a la carte reservations could only be made on-site and were fully booked our first night. We had to return the next day at 10am to get it partially sorted, too much of a headwind. • Despite the top-tier all-inclusive package, it was unclear what was actually included, and too many times we were asked for an additional payment for certain drinks • Yellow Sea (Asian à la carte) served mains nearly identical to the starters at Greco Levante the night before — very small portions, not enough for two. We had to seek second dinner at the regular buffet, which was disappointing to say the least. No vegetarian options. • The private pool in our room was very small and unheated, making it unusable in May • Housekeeping knocked and immediately entered our room without waiting for a response, while we were in it. • The Cool Living area is on a steep hill, the reception is down at the bottom and our room was right in the middle, which made it only accessible via hotel carts, which had unreliable scheduling — often a long wait just to get around the property. Not recommended for the faint hearted. • Expected more for such a price tag with a Hilton quality.
