LUX Belle Mare

Our son loved the kids club and looked forward to going there each day.

Arrived in Mauritius on Monday evening , after an hour drive from the airport we arrived pretty late at Lux* Belle Mare. We were greeted with smiles and welcome drinks. Check in took less than 5 minutes. The room (Junior Suite) was tastefully decorated and very comfortable , but since I was travelling with the family I decided to upgrade to a villa(More space and a private heated pool). The villa's are amazing! We had 2 butlers who took care of us (Pravindh and Sanju). They went out of their way to provide for us absolutely anything we needed. It was more than just room/laundry service. They took care of our every need and treated us like royalty. We opted for the half board package so breakfast and dinner was included. We occasionally grabbed a bit from the food truck for lunch. The food at Lux Belle Mare cannot be faulted. In the week that we stayed there I do not remember eating the same thing twice. I had the pleasure of meeting Suren(the villa manager) who always made sure our needs/wants were taken care of. We usually get homesick after a few days of being away but Lux Belle Mare was a place we would never get tired off. We're already thinking about another trip next year! Well done guys , keep up the great work!!

Outstanding

Fantastic hotel. We went here for our delayed honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The beach was clean and beautiful. There were plenty of complimentary water activities including snorkelling and water skiing that you can try. The food was better in the standalone restaurants than the buffet but the buffet still had a large and tasty range. The best part of this was the friendliness of the staff who were always smiling and willing to help. A special thank you to Kay who helped me organise a lovely dinner in the gazebo for my wife's birthday. She loved it and it was made much easier with Kay's support. If you are looking for a relaxed , away from the world break then this is what you need. It's in a quiet place with not much to do locally outside of the hotel but still only about an hours drive from other parts of the island. Would be happy to go back again.

The room was beautiful, food was amazing and the resort has been designed to protect you from the East Coast wind even during the winter months. The all-inclusive package was well worth it!
