Super 8 by Wyndham Fort Madison

Room was fine

Manager was rude and short with us the rest of the staff was great, no breakfast.

The environment was very nice

Wish you would have had coffee when I went up there in the morning but they didn't

The room was perfect. Plenty of space. The continental breakfast was excellent. And, yes pets are welcome. The whole staff will speak to your pet by name. I love Super 8, and so does my son and fur baby!!

The whole staff was really sketchy and asking weird questions. He was asking about parents, boyfriends, how many people were staying and who. The whole room smelled like cigarette smoke. The bathroom wall was covered in pee and the beds and chairs were covered in stains. There were also a lot of random people lurking around the property.

Really dated, desk clerk said room was remodeled but didnt appear to be. Old furniture, no AC in lobby or hallways. No real breakfast.

The location - being in Fort Madison - and being pet friendly.

The staff was not well prepared when we checked in - our reservation information was not readily handy. They also were not available for over an hour late in the evening when one of our room keys stopped working.

This was by far the WORST hotel experience. The room was filthy, covered in a film of dust and various unknown things covering the walls and other surfaces. It had a terrible smell upon entering the room. The hotel staff opened our door while we were in the room and came in WITHOUT permission. We felt uncomfortable leaving our items in the room. Will not return and was not worth the price.

The property was dirty and there were roaches all over. The room itself was gross. The walls dirty and stained. We also had the only room without a screen on the second floor and the window was open upon check in- so our room was also full of flies. We only stayed a couple hours.
