Super 8 by Wyndham Fort Madison

First thing the room smelled bad when we opened the door!! Dirt on floor, carpet hadn’t been cleaned or vacuumed for a couple weeks or so! This hotel needs a lot of updates We will not be staying there again

Selections where poor

Room was very dirty. Room above us people were walking very loud. Breakfast cereal was old. Not much else to choose from. We went to Mc Donalds to eat.

Cunfterbel

Great location for visiting Nauvoo church history sites (once the bridge is open to cross over the river). The room was clean, the bed was good and the AC worked well with medium noise level. Their continental breakfast was limited but ok. This is a good 2 star motel.

Location was ok.

Bed and pillows were hard. Difficulty sleeping. Back and neck pain in morning. No juice of any kind for breakfast. Waffle iron had no spray to put on prior to putting waffle mixture in. Person before us using the waffle iron, his waffle totally disentagraded trying to get it out.

Breakfast was barely ok. Had to call to tell that there were missing breakfast items. Selection of breakfast items very bleak.

Appears that the one on duty was the only employee. She did her job but was not very pleasant.

A little dirty and the shower didn’t work amazing but it was a good room for the price.
