Medical Inn Motel

This is an older property, currently under renovation. Air/heater in my “remodeled” room did not work…there was a plug-in space heater on the table if heat was needed (it was) TV remote also didn’t work, turned on/off but nothing else. Room/bed/bath were OK. Parking was fenced in, with signs saying leave no valuables in car/were not responsible, etc…The place smells. Especially in the common areas…not smoke, just an odor. I’m staying elsewhere tonight.

The property refused me service and told me that they did not know how to use the hotel.com system because they just purchased the hotel. They did not allow me to stay arrived at around midnight and had to look for another location asked for a refund they told me they don’t know how to initiate it, I haven’t heard anything from HDC so obviously they didn’t follow up and allowing partners to run free Willy. I’m disappointed.

Not bad for a one night stay, lots of junk in the back parking area and the rooms were not that great. They are doing remodeling so the hotel itself is a giant mess.

A/C system was a bit noisy, other than that the stay was fine.

Old and rundown, photos were misleading. Have stayed in much nicer places for the same price. But when booking on line I guess we take our chances.

An older, dated facility it is in the middle of the hospital district but near both the capital and downtown. We got there early (were greeted promptly) and checked out last minute; experienced a couple of issues which were immediately taken care of. If you don't have to have a pool and hot tub, this is the kind of hidden away motel that offered the absolute quiet that is seldom found in large chain establishments. I would stay here again for similar purposes. Not suited to business people that need a place to spread out their stuff to work,

It was close to the hospital but disappointed when there was only one channel to watch and that was AMC Channel. Would have like several.more channels to choose from. Staff was friendly. Also ended up getting moved from one room.to another when we found out the heater/air conditioner did not work in the first room.

So i rented a non-smoking room, and had a room that smells like a cigar lounge. The sheets stunk of cigarettes, and the desk still had food crumbs all over it. The furniture was damaged , like someone slashed the chairs with a blade. All around dirty room.

This was a roach motel without the roaches. There was food in the microwave food in the refrigerator. The bathroom was dirty. All the faucets leaked no elevator to the second floor, and while we were there, other people were given a room key, and when they went in the room was already rented with people in it.

Got chastised for using Expedia. They said it's cheaper to book directly. My room smelled and was covered in black mold. Had to retrieve my own toilet paper. No real breakfast. Was a single muffin and Tampico. Needless to say with the grime of the property I wouldn't eat an open muffin.
