Very clean and spacious room, good pool and friendly staff

Could do with a gym and although the food was good, I think they could've offered more especially during dinner

CONS: Some things are non-negotiable even in a cheap hotel. 1.If you advertise as Free Wifi available throughout the hotel, you can't have a room (some rooms?), where it doesn't work at all. That was the case when we arrived last Thursday night and were checked into room 247. The lady on reception was very helpful to be fair, so when I asked for a new room and agreed we would move the bedsheets for the kids' bed, she gave us room 235, where it did work. (This issue meant re-packing, moving room and stripping and re-making beds ourselves, at 11.30pm after a full days travelling. It also meant we lost a pool view and had a view of the kids playground instead) 2. Beds will vary in quality at different standards of hotel, but the beds here were absolutely awful. Squeaky, creaky frames and mattresses that had lumps, depresssions and I suspect are decades old. This really impacted my whole holiday, and I was tired every day - every time I moved during my sleep, I hit a bump or a dip and woke up. 3. We arrived after dinner was closed but were told there was a snack available for us in the fridge. This transpired to be 2 sandwiches, with cheap ham and cheese in very stale white bread, plus some fruit and cans of soft drink. 4. Food at an all-inclusive maybe be limited in variation, but the quality here is very poor. 5. The all-inclusive snack offering is poor. Burgers, hotdogs and nuggets wrapped up in paper and left under heaters PROs: 1. The staff are very helpful. 2. The pool itself is very clean (not sure beds are moved when pool area is cleaned though) 3. Lots of cats about (this was a big hit with our kids!) 4. The local seafront restaurants are great and that area is beautiful. 5. Reception staff were pro-active in calling cabs for us and they came pretty much immediately. 6. The supermarket next door has everything you might need at very reasonable prices.

In a lovely quiet area with mainly fish restaurants nearby, a 30 min walk to the centre of Costa adeje. The hotel itself is quite run down in areas but it has a lovely Spanish interior vibe and is kept clean. Always plenty of sunbeds and the pool area was clean and pool was heated. Food was good and always plenty of choice, especially liked the morning pastries and cakes at dinner. Staff all very friendly and helpful, Amanda who did the entertainment was very engaging with everyone and always had a smile on her face. The rooms were dated and in need of a renovation, beds weren’t very comfy and kept coming apart as they were 2 twins pushed together. We also had a bad smell in the bathroom, I told reception about it twice but although it improved for a day or two after they came to sort it it soon returned. The adult only area was gorgeous and so peaceful, it was right next to our room 436 so was ideal for nipping back to the room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice, peaceful relaxing holiday at an affordable price.
