Budget Inn of Jasper

The room was a good sized room. The bathroom was really small and it could definitely use some remodeling as it’s an older outdated motel. The walls could use a good scrubbing and there was a musty smell in there and the shower had no pressure the water was just spring out every where. Other than that the motel was comfortable and easily accessible, the price was definitely reasonable for the room.

Charged a key deposit, but were not there to refund in the morning. Do not get scammed!

You get what you pay for. I got sick after being in their room. The water smells rusty and the carpet feels sticky and gross. The sheets had someone’s hair on them. It just wasn’t a great experience.

Property poorly maintained roach infected needs to change the toilets clean the tub drain replace carpets

Heater was noisy and smelled bad . Would not shut off with button had to unplug it.not very clean

The heat was broken. It was 40 degrees inside at night. There was only a tub. No shower. I guess its okay if you like baths. No phone in the rooms. I would suggest going someplace else. FYI, I never review. I will say, the staff is nice and it was clean. But it was non smoking and smelled bad like smoke.

Got to the room, turned around and walked out!

Hotel either needs a major renovation or torn down and replaced. I believe they have a great location

First, i feel its important to note that the staff at the property was extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. That being said, not much else good to say about this property. 90% of everything is broken. My 1st room had no tv, or fridge or microwave. After a few hours the front desk wasnt sure what more to do after requesting maint. And maint said they couldnt do much to get me a new one. Then we left for dinner, and when we came back, we still had no tv fridge or microwave, but in the short time we were gone- the water went out. The sweetheart at the front desk was going to move us(i had 3 rooms) but was informed by the owner that "she wasnt allowed to, as the water would be back on momentarily" this was maybe 7pm ish. The water was off still when i finally fell asleep around midnight. When waking up at 7 it was on, but by 8am it was back off and stayed of until that evening. My room had no light bulbs, no lamp shades, no linens....again all the staff i met were so sweet....but seems like the owner refuses to update any aspects of this hotel- or even pay for basic maintenence. There is furniture allover the parking lot the dumpsters overflowed every day i was there. The pool looks like it hasnt been used in years. Im not snobby and i understand you get what you pay for...but i must admit that my first night at this property- i just cried. Dont come here if you expect ANY level of clenliness or amenities. However if youre looking to cheat or get high...place for you.
