Homewood Suites by Hilton Chesapeake - Greenbrier

Reserved a 2 bedroom room suite. The room was nice size, but the room was dated and needs to be updated. The tvs need to be ugraded. To small for the rooms. One of the showers didn't work because of internal pipe problem. Microwave was not clean and I found a candy wrapper behind the nightstand. To be a Hilton property I was disappointed. Also the breakfast was pretty bad.

Historically I have the Homewood Suites Brand to be a great value and agreat place to stay. This location is an exception to the rule and not representative of the Homewood Suites Brand. The staff seamed to be more interested in themselves and each other than paying attention to the cleanliness of the facility. We had two rooms and the room our friends were in had some kind of coating on the bathtub that was pealing off which made it look dirty. The breakfast was also well below the standards we have become use to at Homewood Suites. I would not recommend this location.

Good location, breakfast was average. Rooms and furniture were outdated. Couch and curtains definitely need replacing. Appliances were old. Coffee maker in our room wasn’t working. We were on the 5th Floor and on our last 2 days, the elevator wasn’t working (and neither did we see anyone fixing it).

This Hilton property was not Hilton quality. The tub had several rust spots. I was proised a new room on the next day. Of course I was told they didn’t have the suite I had available, did have 2 rooms with King Beds. This wouldn't work for me with 3 kids (in a separate room) and 2 adults. The elevator was not working properly. The rooms were old and dated. Housekeeping skip our roo the entire time we were there.

Re place those horrible brick beds and more pillow

We seldom write reviews, but because of our experience I am writing this time. We stayed in a room that was a one bedroom suite. The sofa bed had an extremely thin mattress that was very uncomfortable. The sofa upholstery is old and warn. In the bedroom there was no mattress pad on the king bed and the sheet had a spot on it. The king bed also was lumpy and leaned to one side. Some of the finish on the bath tub was pealed off leaving a large spot on the bottom of the tub. Also, there was no bath mat provided. One of the burners on the stove had what looked like pancake batter spilled on the drip pan beneath the burner. The floor of the elevator was sticky as if someone had spilled a soft drink on it. The staff members were pleasant, but otherwise we were very disappointed. We will not stay at a Homewood Suite again.

This hotel is horrible and is not representative of the Hilton brand. My room was changed three times and with each change, the room selection got worse. This resulted in my husband and I having to change hotels. Futons in a Homewood Suites, unheard of. This is not a sleeper sofa. Dilapidated furniture, food left in the fridge, ice makers out of order, stained sheets, dirty lobby and elevator floors.. to name a few. This hotel needs the help of a task force IMMEDIATELY! We stay Hilton, exclusively! On tonight, we were disappointed.
