The view of Mgarr Harbour and beyond is wonderful, it's the biggest seller of this hotel.

The hotel is very tired. The hallways are full of mould, flaking walls, damp and mould outdated soffets, well worn carpets. The room is fine, other then the fact that the bathroom has dirty shower curtains, a mouldy shower pipe, missing cups, and other things that should not be evident in a 4 star charging the rates it does. The terrace is still all brown from the sand rain that fell a few weeks ago.

I paid for an ' anniversary package ' which included two pieces of cake and a bottle of sparkling wine. I requested the wine to be Moscato D' asti, as it is our favourite wine. And for this requestwas charged 35e instead of 30 which was not a problem. In the email we received( not very responsive. The hotel responded my email after 3 days! ) At our arrival at the hotel we parked at the 1st level parking which don' t have any lift to the hotel and we had to climb a very steep road to the reception( my girlfriend has mobility problems). When talking to the receptionist I was assured that the ' Anniversary package' was ready and everything was all right. We went to our room only to find that there was no cake nor the wine! I went down to the receptionist and told her about the matter, and why she assured me that everything was ok when it wasn' t. She told me that she will sent someone with the cake and the wine. After a while a server came to our room with a bottle of wine which was not Moscato D' asti and with no cake and without even wine glasses! I went again to the receptionist and left the bottle with her and told her what' s going on. She said she was sorry and again will send someone with the right items. More than an hour passed and no one came with the wine and the cake. I phoned the receptionist and told her that no one still came with the items. She told me that she will provide us herself with the items. Moe than another hour passed and no one came. I went to speak for the 4th time to the receptionist and she told me sorry the kitchen is busy!! I told her that this was the worst service we received in a hotel and we were very dissapointef and that this disservice has ruined our anniversary day. Me and my girlfriend went out and on our return we found the wine and the cake in our room. But we were dissapointed cause we expected the anniversary package at our arrival and not to have request for it 4 times!

Indoor pool not warm, I booked with Trivago. Never again. I booked breakfast included but at the reception told me it was not included and had to pay for breakfast.. Cheating.. we were 2 old Malese citizens over 70 years. We came to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary but we're very disappointed..
