While the hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, our overall experience was very disappointing. Several staff members treated us with a lack of respect, and the security guard outside was extremely rude and unprofessional. The team’s unprofessional behavior completely ruined our stay. If you value respectful treatment and good service, this is not the right place to stay.”

I had an amazing experience during my stay at this hotel. Everything was comfortable and well-organized, but what made my visit truly special was the Animation Team. They are incredibly polite, welcoming, and full of positive energy — they make you feel more like part of their family than just a guest. My stay at this hotel was truly wonderful. The place is comfortable, and the services are excellent, but what really stood out for me was the Animation Team. Their attitude is so respectful, friendly, and warm — they honestly make you feel like family with their kindness and positivity. Our stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable. The only challenge was arriving in 47°C heat, which made it unbearable to do much for the first couple of days. However, once we settled in, everything about the hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were fantastic, always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. • Malak at the beach bar is such a humble and dedicated man; he served us with genuine care and always with a smile. • Karim was equally wonderful, going out of his way to make guests feel special. • Fawzy at Ramses looked after everyone, not just us, with such warmth and dedication. Honestly, all the staff were great, but Malak and Karim truly stood out , your good work speaks for itself! One small downside was that the beach bar closes during supper/dinner and is only open to those dining there. It would have been lovely to enjoy a quiet drink by the beach until around 11 PM, as the Sky Bar felt a bit too loud and busy for those of us who prefer a calmer evening atmosphere. One area that could be improved is the restaurant dining options. During our 8-day stay, we were only able to dine in two restaurants. It would be wonderful if guests had the flexibility to book different restaurants on a daily, first-come-first-served basis, so everyone could enjoy a wider variety of dining experiences. It wasn’t a major issue, but it would have made our stay even more special to be able to try all the restaurants the hotel has to offer. This hotel is really amazing. The staff is great and specially the kids animators. They have various programs for the kids and the staff takes so good care of the kids ❤️

Just returned from 2 weeks at the Grand Rotana. We had a very spacious pool view room which was cleaned every day. We dined in the down stairs buffet restaurant with an amazing waiter, Hani. Food was spot on with a peaceful relaxed atmosphere Every member of staff we engaged with was friendly and helpful. The 3 pool bar staff, Fahres, Mahmoud and Mustafa were amazing and friendly. Always asking if we were ok or needed anything. Great entertainment team including Adam the DJ who does a fantastic job. Good quality local alcohol, good quality soft drinks and fantastic service at the Sky Bar. Snorkelling off the beach piers was a particular highlight with a great reef and plenty of fish to see We very rarely if ever return to the same hotel as we like to try new places but Grand Rotana is top of my list of hotels to return to. A couple of small issue that were dealt with immediately and satisfactory Overall probably our best stay in Egypt so far

This is my second visit to the resort, and once again it managed to impress me in every detail — from the stunning views and beautiful location to the variety of facilities that cater to both families and young people alike. What makes me love this place the most is the staff’s dedication to ensuring every guest receives the best service they deserve, which is evident in their courteous attitude and attention to detail. Special thanks to Mr. Mohamed Assem at the restaurant, who welcomed us every morning with a warm smile, making the start of each day cheerful and positive. I would also like to thank Alyona from the events company, who recommended several activities within the resort that I wasn’t aware of, adding more fun and variety to my stay. In short, the resort combines luxury, comfort, and genuine hospitality, and my experience here is definitely worth repeating without hesitation.

Second time at Grand Rotana Resort—and just as spectacular as the first. My room was spacious and spotless; the bed was super comfortable and I slept deeply. The bathroom was clean and fully stocked with amenities. Food was a highlight: lots of variety and everything tasted great, whether at the main restaurant or the beach spots. The beach area is large with three jetties for easy access to the open sea; the house reef is vibrant with coral and plenty of marine life (we saw big schools of colorful fish). The pool is large, has a slide, and there’s a swim-up bar you can access from the water. Staff were fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and truly working around the clock to make stays perfect; the chefs were especially kind. Overall, a lovely stay, and I’ll definitely come back again.
