Waldport Bayfront Hotel & Restaurant

Hotel is very dated and needs major updating. Bathroom had no space to put items. Room had no space for luggage.

The experience fell far below expectations. The rooms were very small. It not up to resort standards. I would not recommend this hotel to others

The manager that we dealt with was very friendly.

Our TV never worked. Paying as much as we did we expected clean towels and the room cleaned. Out garbage containers were full, the soap ran out on the second day since the bars are so tiny. The elderly gentleman was very kind in dealing with our issues and was very thoughtful. We did not get the room that we had reserved as noted by Expedia. The pillows were like bricks.

Staff was nice and accommodating. I was a little disappointed that the restaurant was not open. The room was nice and we had a nice view of the ocean.

Dirty rooms. Luggage carts broke.

Review of Alsi Resort My experience at Alsi Resort started on a promising note with its attractive exterior, but things quickly took a downturn upon check-in. There were three guests ahead of me, yet only one staff member was available at the front desk. It was evident that the employee was struggling with the check-in process, signaling our first concern. When I requested a business card, I was surprised to find that the resort had no official cards available, which felt unprofessional. Upon entering our room, disappointment grew. The space was extremely cramped, with the two queen beds nearly touching due to the limited room size. This was a stark contrast to the online photos and descriptions. Hygiene was another major issue—there was hair between the bedsheets, and no trash cans were provided. To add to the frustration, the room I had specifically booked with a Bayview did not offer the promised view. When I approached the front desk again to express these concerns, hoping for assistance, the staff was dismissive. They insisted on inspecting the room themselves to verify my claims, despite the photos I presented. I requested solutions such as fresh linens, housekeeping services, or a full refund. However, the staff directed me to contact Expedia, citing that since I booked through them, handling refunds was not their responsibility. They only expressed willingness to refund if I contacted the third party- Expedia. Thank you

Hotel has a good layout and is near the water body. This property has lot of potential if maintained properly. Swimming pool was closed. Beds were a bit smaller. Overall stay was comfortable though. Hotel was clean from inside.

The room was very dirty would not recommend

It was ran down, it showed a Jacuzzi tub in the 2 queen room pictures, no Jacuzzi tub, hard beds old stained bed spreads and towels. The pictures make it look nice but then you go there and you get catfished! It shows hard wood floors but it's nasty brown shag carpet laid over concrete. The pool is broken and looks like it has been for a very long time. Unwrapped cups in rooms with dust and hairs in them. This is no where close to a resort, or worth the $345 we paid for 2 nights! The econo lodge in Newport would be better. Highly disappointed. The staff were great but that doesn't make up for the crappy rooms. It could be a really lovely place but IT ISN'T! this place shouldn't be more than $50 a night at very most. Wish the owner would put some money into it to bring it up to it's full potential and match the photos that they show online. The best thing in the room was the ceiling fan.
