Waldport Bayfront Hotel & Restaurant

It looks nothing like the pictures shown, pool and restaurant/ bar were closed, wasn’t worth the price paid. Better off going to the motel 6 down the road.

There was no restaurant as stated. The hot water in the shower

Was not aware that Covid was still an issue. That if you stayed more than one night, you would not get room service. That was a true frustration. We were house hunting for 6 hours to come back with no room service. Since I have motel management experience, I was not happy. Let alone there is only 2 sets of towels in a double queen. 2 beds up to four people should be enough towels for four people. Sheets and coverlet. No blanket. Thankfully there was an extra in the closet area. Not to mention the tv. You need to be taught how to use the tv. Please provide instructions for your guest, this would alleviate frustrations. I do thank the front desk for getting us a room near an entrance. That helped both my husband and I. He has had several spinal surgeries and I am on the waiting list for another knee replacement.

The property was dirty and stained and smelled. When we refused to stay there they showed us a suite they wanted to upgrade us to but the upstairs hallway had buckets catching leaking water. The outside areas were unkept. There was the skeleton of a gas grill laying in the fire pit. Half the things listed on Expedia as amenities such as bar/restaurant were closed down. We did not stay at the hotel but left immediately.

This property was absolutely horrible everything outdated no staff one guy running the whole place and he was new no restaurant open no bar open grills were rusted and fire pits were non-existent poorly camped outside no one should stay here until they get it together and do something about it

This was very close to our family. The property was clean and the staff were really nice and helpful. We will be back.

Our stay was good! The person who checked us in was nice and let us know it would be a quiet weekend at the resort. The room was good with a beautiful view. It was a quiet stay with very few other guests which means we didn’t disturb each other. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful! It’s placed conveniently only a 25 minute drive to the Sea Lion caves and a 20-25 minute drive to the Aquarium in Newport.

Unfortunately I won't stay again. Its a drive just to get some food and beverages. The bar/restaurant was not open the entire weekend. Was not worth the money spent for what they said they offered.

The management, owners (?), who knows. Cons. Checked in late, around 10. Went to bed, got up, showered, packed, left. No breakfast offered. This con couple charged and extra $50 on my card, said we "pulled bed away from the wall". LOFL! Excuse me? 2 guys came down to work on a remodel. Literally, we slept, woke up and left. These people are cons that make up fake sh*t to charge you so you can pay for their long existing repairs. The restaurant used to be very good, as was this hotel. But the restaurant hasn't been open for the last 3 years that I've been going. Probably with the new 'management'. Pay attention to reviews people, they are there for a reason. These people are rude, and extremely dishonest, to put it mildly. In my opinion. My family has property here, friends family frequently come to Waldport for various events. We will avoid this place like the plague in the future and NEVER recommend to anyone.
