Minshuku Sumiya

Great location right in front of the bus stop. Very pleasant owner who works hard to create a lovely and generous multi course dinner.

Obvious wear and tear on an old building. One toilet not functioning.

Staff member (who was a cleaner, not a receptionist) when we arrived was so helpful, above and beyond. A restaurant at the premises. Just beside the river. Had a beautiful swim in the river, and was able to lie in the shallows and feel the hot water rising around me. Not sure what minerals are in the water, but I felt so refreshed and clean after the swim. Strongly recommend a swim.

Didn't know there was a restaurant in the place. If we knew in advance would have saved us searching for a place to have dinner.

Struttura accogliente, arredamento originale, vicino al fiume e al bus stop. Ho avuto un ottima cena in compagnia di altri ospiti davvero somatici. Possibilità di fare il bucato gratis con asciugatura a pagamento, 100 yen per 30 min.

Really hospitable host. Food was exceptional. Location beside the river with hot springs was incredible.

Very welcoming and kind owner. Breakfast, lunch bento and dinner were all excellent. Location right next to the river onsen; they provided yukata and outdoor sandals. Wish I had booked 2 nights instead of 1 as there would have been a lot to do in the surroundig areas.
