Playa Park Zensation

Just back from a lovely relaxing week at Zensation with bro and our wives(half board),lots of positives to say,where to start!Overall all the staff so friendly and helpful,starting with Manager who compensated us with 2 days all inclusive because of room mix up of 1day not getting ground floor apartment I,d booked,fair play.So many cud mention,but of course made particularly special by the entertainment duo,madcap Gino and lovely Vesna who both made so much effort to keep us entertained day and night. Food-breakfast,as good as u cud get,hot or cold.Evening buffet,good choice,better some pms then others (w/end best)nice touch including free alcohol from taps if wanted.How improve?-warm plates wud b nice something management to think of,minor thing.Apartment-extremely spacious and great location by pool,stick a tea towel in yr case if booking same with kitchen like us.Evening entertainment -bit hit n miss,9.30-10.30 acts,some better than others but great to have live music on site every nite. Summery-wud I return?-100%,we had some great characters(how cud U forget "big Cliff"!) and it was like 1 big happy family,thank you Zensation for a memorable week.Steve n Teresa Rushden

Hotel is very much out on a limb so a good 30 mins walk to town centre and has a very small bar area if unable to sit outside. Didn't have much of an atmosphere and no crisp sheets on the bed.All inclusive plus got free entry into the spa daily-went once and didn't bother again. Room was a good size and cleaned very well as was everywhere else,rooftop pool was a nice area but too windy to use much.Outside area had good pool space and lots of loungers-one day we couldn't get one at all but otherwise ok.Felt the restaurant was ok-usual cold breakfast beans etc but lots of fruit and bread and it lacked anything imaginative in the dessert area-mostly bought items I would think.Drinks from the bar were good but better in the late bar which was a much bigger area and had some good shows.

We are regular visitors to Corralejo but this was our first visit to Playa Park Zensation & it certainly won't be our last. We chose an all inclusive package which turned out to be a great option as the food was plentiful & delicious. There was a varied selection for breakfast with almost everything you could imagine from fully cooked options, pastries, fruit, cereal etc. Dinner options were great as well with stand out dishes for us being the lovely freshly made pizza, fresh mussels in cream, all pork succulent & tender, Chinese style sweet & sour, special fried rice and Fajitas were all amazing. The property is extremely clean & well maintained. Special mention also to the staff who couldn't do enough for us during our visit. They are a credit to Zensation. We were looked after particularly well by Latifa, Manuela & Amadou at the bar and Maria kept our room extremely clean & well stocked with bottles of water. The entertainment team Vesna & Gino were very good too, with various activities throughout the day, including a sangria making masterclass on St. Patrick's day which was great craic. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so special.. we will be back for sure!

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and lovely food! “English sausages” with breakfast! The hotel rooms are extremely spacious. Gino has the energy of the Duracell bunny, which was always entertaining to watch (from A distance 😂). I was treated to a bottle of fizz and chocolates for my birthday. Would definitely return.

Lovely hotel and beautiful location great food and attentive chefs coming out checking the food and presentation. Can’t fault it at all really pleased we went.

Just returned from a 10 day break , The trip was a good experience , the room in the Zensation area was clean and spacious ,The food was a much improved from our previous time although a few chipped plates etc could be renewed .The shower was a bit hit and miss with cold to hot water but it certainly woke you up in the morning . The staff were helpful and friendly , A special shout out to the ents team Gino and Vesna, we certainly was entertained , but please extend the time in the evening 11.15 shutdown was to early , If the act goes on past 10.30 it only leaves 30 mins to play music or as in our case a bit of kareoke, Generally a good experience .

On arrival, we were greeted by a very friendly team. We were checked swiftly, luckily our room was ready. The room number 3105 was a great location for us as the balcony had a view over the main pool area so there was always something to watch going on. Bear in mind though that part of the building doesn’t get any sun in March until about 3 pm .We booked a suite in the Zensation block as this allowed us to access the rooftop pool and terraces. There were plenty of sun lounges, could potentially do with more parasols but we managed fine. My one complaint was apparent immediately on entering the room that the pillows were terrible, so I called reception asked for better pillows and someone brought up before bed that night, unfortunately the pillows were a bit smelly and the bedding not great quality, everything else about the room was great, although not really a suite as I would expect, it was just a bedroom with a sofa in it no separate area, but that was okay for the week. As I am in an early riser, I prefer a separate area I could get up and go and read therefore not disturbing my husband. The food in the buffet restaurant was absolutely outstanding. The choice and the freshness was phenomenal.. by far the best buffet restaurant food we have ever experienced. Our booking was “half board plus “ so breakfast and evening meal which included soft drinks, beer or wine. As part of the holiday you get to use the à la carte restaurant once during a week which we were really looking forward to but in our opinion it wasn’t as good as the buffet restaurant, there wasn’t the choice and although we got served with our steak which by the way was dreadful, you still had to get up and get everything else yourself so not really much different to the buffet restaurant. We would definitely stay in this hotel again and would like to see if they have what is considered a proper suite.

Had the best experience from the day we got here. The staff are all amazing and the entertainment at the hotel is hilarious. You have the lovely Gino, who is just fantastic and a new lady who had started the week we came here, she is also so amazing and funny. We had an issue with our shower and told reception, this was sorted the same day so cannot fault at all. The food is good with a large variety and the drinks are amazing with a good selection of cocktails. The weather did end up being a little wet but the staff were sure to keep us entertained. Would 10000% return again!!!
