Room was average needs to be cleaned better. Property need attention is too dirty and and not welcoming

Omg just don’t stay here! It’s very run down, barely any privacy as there are huge gaping holes under the doors, our dogs were literally nose to nose with the neighbor’s dog. The tiles on bathroom floor were cracked. The section across the parking lot is abandoned and very scary looking.

If you are looking for the cheapest place in town, this is it, we paid $80/night for 2 king rooms. Sheets were clean but the room wasn’t. It clearly hadn’t been deep cleaned in weeks- edges of room and corners had dirt build up, room had dirt and debris on the floor, hairs in the bathroom that weren’t mine. Hair dryers in both rooms weren’t working, door wasn’t sealed and I could see the daylight out of the edges of door. A few mosquitos made their way in. Refrigerator had a massive dent like someone had kicked it in- rooms very shabby. Stairs and upper walkway has clearly not been vacuumed in a week or so. Wifi was weak and slow. Sink was clogged. Not sure how Super 8 can put their name on this place.

Good value for the price

Old small Super 8 building; almost like a motel 6; but rooms were clean and decent sized. Great for a cheep solo business trip. You get what you pay for, and it seems a fair deal for the money. I think I’d come back again if traveling alone, but not if with spouse.

We're travelling the western US on a Motorbike and plan and book just one or two days ahead. As we stayed at some very good hotels at very competitive prices in the past weeks, I risked booking the cheapest hotel for our stop in Evanston. The pics on the booking platform as well as in Tripadvisor looked even nicer than those of some more expensive hotels in town. The room was as good and clean as you can expect it from a cheap 2-star hotel. It was sold as including breakfast, but there was literally no breakfast at all as you can see on the pics. In general I have the feeling that the management of this place is about to run it down and I guess next time we'll be looking for another place. This is now the third bad experience with hotels run by a foreign management, most probably from India, Pakistan or Bangladesh.
