The room and place was beautiful

The one reason we went back was because we enjoyed sitting near the fireplaces last year. This time not a single one of them was working. It was extremely disheartening and devalued our stay.

First of all the resort has great potential if it gets a refresh. I was disappointed that none of the indoor wood fireplaces could be used because of code failure from the previous year. they had a whole year to fix. one of the hot tubs was broken and everyone was in the small one which didn't have enough water in it. the outdoor area where you walk was not heated so it was freezing and snow was accumulating. there is also no shuttle to downtown you have to drive. i can't imagine during ski season and you have to drive yourself to the mountain. when we stay downtown they have a public ski shuttle.

"Very Good"

One hot tub was broken and the other hot tub was so low on water the jets sprayed you in the face and our room Beat was so high go it was 76 we canned and they came and turned the breaker off but it was still I uncomfortable to sleep In.

"Relaxing stay at whiteface lodge in Lake Placid NY"

Excellent place to relax with lots of amenities to please different interests. Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Lots to do close by. Really enjoyed have nice dining facilities on site.

"Phenomenal! We can’t wait to return."

We just came back from spending most of this week at the Whiteface Lodge as a fall getaway with our children. We stayed in the presidential suite, and I can’t say enough great things about our stay. The room was stunning, the view and grounds were beautiful, the food was great, and the staff were so friendly. We will be back at least once a year, it’s a beautiful place to be. The food was excellent, and you just feel so at home during your stay. We can’t wait to return! This is a gorgeous place.
