Blenkinsopp Castle Inn

We werden erg vriendelijk ontvangen en kregen een mooie kamer. Het eten (zowel het diner als het ontbijt) is goed verzorgd en smaakte heerlijk. De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is positief.

Late booking and the staff could not have been more helpful. Deluxe room very clean and comfortable.

Very bright green safety light in room which kept me awake. Suitable for corridor but maybe not suitable for bedroom.

Our room & en-suite were huge! We stayed on a Sunday & had a perfectly cooked Sunday roast, the breakfast was also excellent. Carol was great with pre-arrival communication and Gary was a great host who kindly gave us a lift back onto the Pennine Way to restart our hike, he was very kind.

The staff was great and they kept the kitchen open late so we could have dinner with our late arrival. It is located close to Hadrian’s wall which we visited in the morning.

The food was fabulous and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere in the pub was relaxed, comfortable and perfect for what we needed after a few days walking.

It wasn't that I didn't like it, the rooms were pleasant enough but found the mattress too soft and uncomfortable. But I accept that is just me and others may like that. I didn't sleep well because of this.
