Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa

Huge, comfy beds. Fridge, smart TV, plug beside mirror in room. Fantastic SPA. IVY restaurant really good. Bar food gorgeous.

Stayed here for a relaxing night in triple room with besties (we should have booked longer!), spa was a lovely treat. Cocktails were amazing and bar staff were really friendly. Thanks to all the welcoming reception staff and Serkan. We will be back.

Wonderful stay as a group of 3 friends, we had a triple room with plenty of space. Spa facilities are wonderful and relaxing well worth a visit. Food and drinks are fab. The staff in this hotel are wonderful from bar, spa and reception. Will definitely return for another stay very soon x

Had a fabulous stay in dunboyne castle, from the time we arrived the staff on reception were so welcoming and the manager serkan couldn't do enough. Bar staff were so friendly Food is fab especially the curry, and well made cocktails The spa is so relaxing we'll worth a visit, we stayed in a triple room which was big, comfy and quiet Will definitely return

Myself and my partner stayed for 2 nights and the staff were wonderful, super nice, friendly and couldn't do anymore for us. The grounds, spa and food was absolutely amazing would highly recommend it. Camille and Maria at the front desk couldn't do more for us 10/10.

Last night my boyfriend and I stayed at Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa and unfortunately our experience did not meet the standards we would expect from a 4-star hotel. The most disappointing aspect was the cleanliness of the room. On arrival, there was a horrible musty smell in the room. The furniture was from what looked like the 1980s, there was a dirty towel left in the room, a used tissue inside the robe, and hair wrapped around the bath stopper. This made me feel that the room had not been properly cleaned before my stay, which is disgusting. There were also a number of other issues during the stay, including very slow service in the restaurant, no availability for afternoon tea despite no clear notice on the website about needing 48 hours’ notice, and some facilities such as the bar not being open. Breakfast was included in our €360 package and it was a huge let down both mornings. The first morning there was hardly anything left to eat, the second morning the food was freezing cold. Check out was at 12 but we left as soon as we could this morning as we couldn’t wait to get away from the place. This is NOT a 4 star hotel please spend your money elsewhere.
