Spa excellent. Room ok.

Food standard was very average.

We had a lovely time. Spa was great. The staff are so friendly and helpful, especially Niamh, she was so nice and very helpful . We will definitely go back.

We stayed in Dunboyne castle last weekend and had a lovely experience. The Spa was definitely the best part,lovely facilities and not too busy. We had lunch and dinner in the hotel,food was lovely both times. Location was ideal,staff were very friendly. We will definitely be back !

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was lovely and afternoon tea was great. The spa is wonderful and I had the best massage of my life by Sharon who was amazing!! A must if staying here

Lovely room and thermal suite is a must, lovely but only allowed a 2 hour stay, staff were friendly if inattentive at times

Expected access to the pool for the duration of our visit but you must book the thermal suite (extra €25pp if you book a room), with considerable advance as we tried to book a week before and could only get the 9am slot, (the website does say €25pp PER STAY which I felt was misleading) and you must leave after 2 hours which was quite disappointing considering the price of the rooms (over €200/night) but the suite which includes a number of saunas jacuzzis cold bucket shower and steam rooms is really really lovely, there are no real amenities for over night guests except the complimentary buffet style breakfast which was nice, the two dining areas (the Sadler bar which only opens on Saturdays and the terrace bar) shared the same uninspiring menu with subpar food for the price you’re paying, we did try to book the fine dining Ivy restaurant but again it was booked out so book well in advance although I’m glad it was fully booked as the other restaurant didn’t fill me with confidence and I’m sure the price is rather steep. Overall the hotel left the impression that it is focused on short stay guests and events while overlooking their overnight guests which led to a disappointing hotel experience.

They went above and beyond for my partners birthday with balloons, sweets and a lovely card in the room. Every member of staff we encountered had a smile and couldn’t be more helpful. The room was big and the bed was super comfy. Massage and facial was one of the nicest I’ve had.

Shower door leaked a little. Room next door was up all night talking loudly/arguing and we could hear them through the wall so we kept being woken up, not a hotel issue, just an unfortunate people issue.

Thermal Suites amazing Food in lounge very nice Chicken wings were so tasty Beef burger was massive and fab Soup very tasty Pizza so big could feed 2-3 people Hotel was nice and relaxing Quite which is what was needed with a 3 year old who doesn’t sleep great Room did disappoint a little bit didn’t look like the photos Wasn’t fully clean Bathroom toilet needed another looking over But apart from that great stay
