The apartment is ok and comfortable, but it needs some maintenance, especially for the kitchen. Boiler for the water looked somewhat dangerous, all covered with soft polystyrene

I didn't like previous guests. First: someone left an awfully dirty oven, nastily smelling of fish. The first evening my children wanted a pizza, but switching on the oven the fish smell invaded the whole house. Dreadful!! I think that as on holidays one should not leave such a dirty oven, since it doesn't get cleaned every time from guest to guest. Second: someone left two tea towels dirty and wet inside a drawer, the agency said they were left by some previous guest, since they were not provided by them. As you can read going around in the city: People make Glasgow!

Clean and usable

The apartment was bright and spacious. It had only one flight of stairs, which is a bonus when lugging heavy cases. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. We felt very much at home there.

The company handling the management put a 250 pound hold on my credit card, to cover any potential damage. I understand why and got it back as soon as we left. While it was early in my trip and I could manage a 250 pound charge appearing on my credit card, if you were on a tight budget, having to set aside that money could be an issue. Maybe it needs to be in a more prominent spot on the listing than ‘hidden’ in the important information.
