Breakfast not amazing, also we can't access the hotel between midnight and 5 am

Lovely hotel in great location. My room was well equipped with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was fine. Helpful staff. Quiet but great location.

The property is locked from midnight to 5:00 a.m., a major restriction that was not clearly disclosed before booking. Because I had an early flight, I was concerned about reaching the airport on time and was forced to leave the property at 11:55 p.m. to ensure I would not miss my flight. The property did not match the impression created by the photos, the breakfast was disappointing, and I found the owner’s attitude aggressive and unwelcoming when I raised concerns about my flight and transportation arrangements. Important restrictions and conditions should be clearly disclosed before guests make a reservation.

Unique place to stay, super close to amazing parts of the Higashiyama ward

檜風呂がついていたので、リラックスでき、非日常を味わえました！場所も建仁寺や清水寺まで歩いて行ける距離だったのですごく良かったです！素敵な滞在ありがとうございます🍵
