Volcano Lodge Hotel & Thermal Experience

Volcano lodge truly lives up to its name—it’s a paradise! The cabin we stayed in was comfortable, and clean. The views of the surrounding nature were absolutely breathtaking. One of the highlights of our stay was the variety of Thermo Mineral Hot Springs pools—there were so many to choose from, and they were all so relaxing. There are even areas designed for kids, making it a great spot for families. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. We absolutely loved our time here and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend!

The grounds were immaculate, and our room had the private mineral spring hot tub. It was very relaxing and a well kept property.

Ice machine was infested with bugs. Rooms were outdated with bugs everywhere. Property and surrounding area were beautiful.

Property is beautiful and well maintained. Some of the staff members could be a bit more friendly. Food is decent, Bar areas close too early (9pm) even on weekends.

Nice place, clean, friendly. Hot water did not last for 2 showers.

Magical location, beautiful hotel, lovely staff

Grounds were lush with tropical foliage - room had patio where we sat outside and watched/listened to creek, birds, misty rain and viewed Arenal volcano. Lots of Thermal pool areas to choose from, not crowded. Breakfast had good selection.

Beautiful property and grounds. Rooms were a little dark and definitely had the jungle touch with some insects finding paths inside. Close to town and activities.

I’m in the Spa is awesome. One of the cooler hotels I have stayed in in the past year. As an id traveler, I wouldn’t highly recommend this to anyone looking to go on a La Fortuna adventure.

Nice layout with a lot of trees and flowers. The rooms were a little dated.
