Clean, well designed, practical room.

The shower gel and shampoo were the same product. The TV responded very slowly when selecting cable channels (5–10 seconds). YouTube on the TV stalled every time after about 5 minutes of video playback.

Die Einrichtung wirkt modern und gemütlich. Wir hatten auch eine kleine Terrasse am zimmer, was wirklich toll war. Ansonsten ist das Hotel eher etwas für kürzere Aufenthalte. Wir waren dort vier Nächte, was fast zu viel war.

Frühstück ist nicht so toll. Im Bad hat es leider ewig gedauert, bis warmes Wasser kam. Vom Bett habe ich Rückenschmerzen bekommen.

Nettes Personal, Frühstück ist gut, Zimmer im ersten Stock über eine Treppe erreichbar (mit Kleinkind und Gepäck wird's schwierig ohne mind. zweimal zu laufen, aber jeder Gang hält fit)

Prettige bediening

Kleine kamer, kleine badkamer, geen plaats voor spullen. TV werkt niet. Zeer gehorig.

Reasonably priced, good wifi, friendly staff, and the room was spacious, with a terrace. Breakfast is probably lovely for most.

Chaotic check in, where every guest was asked to fill in their own ID number - the ID’s themselves weren’t checked. The mini fridge was warm, the safe was locked, the room was dusty, and there was an ashtray on the terrace table. I sent the hotel a message about the fridge and safe while I was at work: no response. Lots of mosquitoes in the room - they come in through the bathroom window in the ceiling, which can’t be closed. The walls are stained with splattered insects. Also, for me, there was too little choice at breakfast. I like to eat lots of veggies and eggs. I asked for some scrambled eggs and cucumbers. I got one scrambled egg on a plate. After I ate and was ready to leave, someone came and asked whether I still wanted those cucumbers. Finally, this is my old neighbourhood, and it’s great to live in, but I’d forgotten how lacking in public transport Amstelveen is. Not something that can be helped by the hotel, but it is something to keep in mind when you book.
