The bed were clean. The shower did not drain well. Flooring needed redone. Hard to understand the owner.

I was pleasantly surprised with this low priced hotel 🙂 Custodial Staff needs a raise in wages-- the room was Clean, and I mean Clean Clean! Especially the bathroom! I was a Custodian in public schools for 36 years-- I notice detailed cleaning. Bed was very comfortable. 3 soft pillows was very helpful. Conveniences not usual for budget hotels but this one is Awesome-- Table and 2 chairs. Refrigerator and freezer-- freezer actually works. Microwave. TV and 36 channels. All the conveniences of home😊 Suggestions for upgrades: Shower needs a light. I had to shower with the curtain open because it's so Dark in the totally enclosed shower area. Wall heater-- fan needs some attention. Periodically makes a high pitched squealing noise. Doormat-- either inside or outside, to wipe salt off my shoes. Excessive amount of salt on sidewalk outside of room-- I was walking on rock salt inside of room in my bare feet...Ouch. Overall-- I really enjoyed my stay here. Staff is very polite, smiles and helpful. Definitely will stay here again next Cadillac Michigan trip👍

Desk clerk couldn't find reservations. Said he does not book thru Hotels.com only Expedia. He called me earlier in the day to notify of change of rooms and when I showed him my phone, he said he did not call. Took 10 minutes of arguing with him till he found my reservation. Then he wanted to give me a room with a broken door lock and stated only the master key would work and he would let me in but I could not have a key. He was going to change my room in the morning after the other guests checked out. I told him that we needed to be out by 9 and he stated that was not possible. Finally gave me a different room with a key but only 2 pieces left on the toilet paper roll, a 3/4 empty shampoo, no door rug and no blow dryer. Would never stay here again. I thought I had reservations on the Econolodge not the Economy Inn. Would definitely stay at the Econolodge again. Also there was no place to hang or store clothes for the weekend. Floor was filthy, no deadbolt in door or safety chain. Holes in bathroom door that would not close. Bed was comfortable. TV small and is Osha was to visit, the place would be shut down. Maybe worth $40.00 a night.

My room (#21) was cold when I arrived so I turned up the heat--terrible noise! When I complained, the management brought me an electric space heater that was quiet and warmed up the room. My parking space was right in front of my motel door. Motel is close to great dining. It's 15 miles to great skiing (Caberfae Peaks). Affordable and quiet. The TV had lots of channels and was comfy to watch. Wi-fi worked great.

First off they tried to deny reservation accusing us of damage before hand and absolutely none of services advertised were actually available I actually feel bad for staying here my wife is breaking out with bedbug bites on her entire back I think we should get a refund but I'm 100 percent sure they won't be honoring that request if I could I'd give it a -100 stars

Room was clean, everything worked OK. It’s a “retro” place but OK to lay down and sleep. Just don’t expect “The Ritz.” I would stay there again for the price,

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice. I will stay there again.
