Economy Inn Cadillac MI by Hotel O

The checkin process was lovely...the. couple running the hotel were nice. The problem was they had other tenants, a large group of men, partying and blaring loud music from a white passenger van until 430am. Then they proceeded to go upstairs to their rooms and continue the disturbance. I notified the managers multiple times, when I called again at 3am, they stopped answering. This is not a place to stay if you need your sleep..this is a party place. I was very disappointed and am exhausted going to my job today.

So, there's really NOTHING special about this place, but I actually liked the place. It's an older place, nothing fancy and for the most part, serves it's purpose. Door uses an ACTUAL KEY! I got a kick out of that. Super small fridge, but was useful! I really liked that our room was on the very end and that the bed was against the outer wall and that the bathroom was on the wall of the next room. Never heard anything from the room next door! The downside: WORST BED EVER!!!! I'm sure the bed was last replaced in the 70's. All metal frame that squeaked if you even THOUGH of moving! Thankfully we weren't there long, because sleep was almost impossible on that bed! The only way I'd be willing to stay there again is if they replace the bed!

Meticulously clean with kind service. The amenities were few and the exterior needs to be fixed.

I looked at a room before checking in. Told the receptionist that I would not be staying. No way was I going to stay here. The air conditioning unit did it for me. Filthy. First thing which crossed my mind was legionaries disease. Not for me.

A very small unit. The bathroom was very cramped. No hot water the night of check in. Warm but not hot the next morning. The unit was clean and the owners were friendly but Indian and very hard to understand. The property and the area run down. Would not recommend this motel.

Family owned ancient property. Nice people and room was clean. Cleaner than the lobby fortunately. Literally a bed to sleep in but that was about all.

Unfriendly staff. Dirty smelly room.

Great central location. Friendly staff. Great price.

Thin walls, smokers, noisiness, towels are washed but not bleached, can see past stains. Mini fridge, microwave, soap, shampoo are provided. Clean bed, clean floor. Nice staff. Fresh coffee in the morning.

Room was recently renovated and was beautiful. Very clean.
