"Don't let the looks fool you."

Talk about “don’t judge a book by its cover.” We pulled into this vintage motel on September 11, 2025. We had no idea what to expect, but when I drove in, my heart sank. We were tired and road weary. I could not have been more wrong. This hotel is old and worn on the edges. But it is a 5-star special on the inside. The GM, Front Desk Clerk, Buffet Attendant, and General Host is the nicest guy you've ever wanted to meet. I will call him guitar man for this review, and he does it all. Great guy, great attitude, and great service. The room was clean, comfortable, modern, and as good as any CHOICE-branded motel we have ever stayed in. The morning Breakfast Buffet was stocked, clean, and cozy. I would not hesitate to stay in this Motel anytime I am in the area and for as long as I need. I wish that all of CHOICE-branded motels were as nice and homey as this one was. I have only one thing I would change, and if I won the Lotto, I would buy them as a gift, for the guitar man. The lighting in this hotel needs to be all upgraded to LED, Daylight, 5,000 to 6,500K lighting. With the mix of lighting, it now has it looks terribly dated. With brand new bulbs, it would look so much more modern. If I could afford it, I would buy the guitar man a few cases of LED “Daylight” bulbs. My wife and I rate this place as a solid 5 of 5. Keep up the excellent work. Your motel was one of the highlights of our trip to Colorado.

Clean and pet friendly. Not right downtown but not very far away. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Room had everything I needed for a one-night stay. Bed was comfortable. When I entered the room there was a strong smell of air freshener and I wondered what it was covering up. An older motel on the edge of town, not convenient to services, and not on the same side as newer motels. Renovation was OK and room was clean, but it showed its age.
