Near gondola and downtown ,clean ,nice staff

Location set on hill when it’s full with snow hard to climb up with ski equipment

Lovely home and host. So accommodating.

We were told no breakfast the morning of with no reasoning. So we had to figure out a quick breakfast before skiing. Also the hill up to the home is massive and had ice. Tricky w luggage.

Location - walking distance to the gondola at Happo. Lots of food and restaurants nearby. Blankets were comfortable and warm.

Pillows were a traditional Japanese rock hard. No free breakfast. Language barrier. We were sold a lift pass by the owner who explained it was for all mountains in area but was only Happo.

Beds were uncomfortable, it reaked of gas in the room so we slept with the kerosene heater off out of our safety concern and were freezing at night. Our pillows were literally bean bags. Due to the above, we left after 1 night and were not given a refund for the rest of our stay, nor any communication back from the lodge with regard to our concerns.
