The young man who answered the phone -- Nick -- was fabulous! My GPS brought me to a residence, and it was very late and very dark. He patiently and professionally talked me through every mile...until I reached the Inn. Moreover, he was waiting for me outside to ensure my safe arrival. It is so rare in today's world to have such a find young person be willing to help...and to be so customer-centric. What a fine employee Nick is...take good care of him!!!

The hotel was built in 1907 and has the feel of an old guest house similar to what you find in parts of Europe. It has a very nice, certainly upscale feel in the bar area, the restaurant, and the rooms in the hotel. I have stayed there before and enjoyed the visit. Temperature control is not what you would expect in a modern hotel, but overall it is a nice experience...small, personal, and certainly upscale.

"What a find!"

Super nice hotel! Old school luxury in a non-pretentious vibe. Truly one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in years. Its better than the Sheratons I usually stay at when traveling for work. My room was incredible! I felt like I was staying in the guest quarters of a wealthy relative. If anyone is in this area don't hesitate, book a room. Great restaurants within walking distance, train station directly across the street, and comfort inside the Inn.

Room was fabulous, less noisy front street (should put better windows in rooms facing the main drag). Food in restaurant was poor. And service lacking. But hotel overall pleasant

"Comfortable, charming hotel in Bernardsville"

Very comfortable room. Excellent food at restaurant and by room service. Hot water was a bit slow to arrive in our third floor room and we were surprised to find no fridge or coffee maker, but all other amenities were very good.
