Royalty B&B

The location was close enough to the airport to be the perfect stopover on our way over to Vancouver Island. Our host was welcoming with a late check in ( 10.30pm ) and the toast and cereal breakfast hit the spot.

The hostess Vivian was very pleasant and went out of her way to make sure I was well aware of all the features of the B&B as well as advice on places to eat in the local area.

Would have preferred to brew some fresh coffee as opposed to instant grounds

Friendly atmosphere

Vivian is a lovely lady and really enjoyed our interaction. She allowed me an early check in and gave me good tips for food spot. I love the no outside shoes in the house policy The house was super clean. I felt home. I will definitely come back for a longer stay.

What is there not to like. We had a very warm welcome and we felt that we were more than just a paying customer. We were made to feel welcome.

There was no reason to not like anything here. So good

Everyting was very good

Bed was comfortable. The room was fine.

We arrived half hour late due to an accident on the highway. The host called us and said she would charge us extra for being late. When we arrived, she said accident was an excuse to be late. A car was upside down, we could do nothing about it. No empathy and simply rude. The host requested 20$ sanitizing fee due to Covid that happened 6 years ago. She pocketed the money we gave her. He asked where we came from and said she doesn’t allow suitcase in the room if we came from the airport. How absurd. She made us take our shoes off and leave them on a shoe rack. She said our shoes were dirty. She offered indoor slippers that were questionable to be clean. We chose to go barefoot. She asked what time we wanted breakfast, after dealing with her we wanted to leave as soon as we woke up. Reading others reviews about breakfast being a piece of bread with jam, we made a good choice not to stay. It is not bed and breakfast with a toast. Misleading and false advertising. We did not get key to our room. If we were to go for a walk anybody could have come to the room and take what they pleased. That was not safe. She did not show us emergency exit or anything like that. She was more concerned about the money. We stayed in other bbns in Canada and that was the worst host. Very weird vibe from her. Booking.com should admit place like this.

Loved the location! Planes can be a little loud but I personally loved them. The woman was so cute and sweet and if she were my landlord, I would be the luckiest renter. Highly recommend this place, it is gorgeous.
