Malolo Island Resort

The whole team at Malolo Resort were amazing, highest level of authentic service we have experienced!

Off grid but with everything you could want. Amazing snorkelling , cloud break surf,friendly staff,stunning food and grrat cocktails. What more could you want dor a winter escape.

Didn’t like that there was no explanation that the catamarans don’t pull up to the Malolo resort wharf. You have to transfer to a small boat, which then takes you to the wharf which is much smaller than it appears on their website. Aside from that, really loved this resort.

The rooms and overall property are beautiful. The sports options are great. Being an American, the menus were a little limited for my taste (prefer a la carte all the time for smaller meals rather than only having a buffet option). It seems like a great place for small children, however my 11 year old aged out of the kids club, so she was a little bored when not in the water. Overall, a beautiful experience and i would love to come back!

A wonderful resort. Our family enjoyed our stay here as the snorkeling off the beach was fantastic. We stayed for 3 nights and this gave us the relaxing start to our island holiday that we were after. The one thing I would say we were disappointed with is the way staff seemed to cater to particular guests over others.

Quiet and friendly atmosphere. Great for families and couples. We enjoyed the adults only areas.

Amazing resort with a fantastic staff. After visiting a number of resorts in recent years this has to be my number one. Fantastic views from your Bure. Great kids club and the whole resort seems to want to take care of the kids so the adults can relax whilst still spending a great amount of time with the kids. Epic snorkeling, would have loved to have had enough time to do my PADI license. Treetops Restaurant was by far the BEST food I have ever had in Fiji. Service was world class. Sad to leave though will be back soon

We had a fantastic stay here. The resort is beautiful including a pool with a swim up bar! Our rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was great. We had an amazing dinner at Treetops restaurant and the most beautiful sunset! Cocktails at the beach bar at sunset are a must. Would not hesitate to return here and highly recommend! Tip: bring Mosquito spray it’s a bit bitey!

As a regular traveller to Fiji, we had not visited an island until now. We decided on Malolo due to the reviews of other travellers and were not disappointed. The coral reef was nothing short of amazing, I found myself snorkelling multiple times a day and each time I saw something new. I could have spent hours! The best part was I simply had to venture from the front of our Bure to get there. The staff were amazing and made our stay special, we had our daughters 4th birthday and were able to arrange a cake for her through the restaurant. The only negative was the variety of food options, we stayed for 7 nights which meant a lot of repetition. Next time we will only do 4 nights on an island and 3 nights at Denaru to mix it up a bit. We did use a Nanny service for 4 hours one day but our daughter didn't like it. We missed her the whole time and took her back after 3 hours. Our Nanny wasn't great unfortunately but other people seemed to like the ones they were assigned. Would definitely go back.
