Breakfast was OK, as were the Lovo and Curry Night buffet dinners. The staff were generally very friendly and helpful.

We have stayed at the Pearl on several previous occasions but this time the general standards did not seem to be as high as previously. For example, our room was OK but it didn't seem to have been properly cleaned overnight, no clean towels, no replenishment of toiletries. The golf course could do with some better maintenance, including the carts and on-course toilet facilities. This year is the 50th anniversary of the first international tournament played at the course, and Greg Norman was one of the early tournament winners. This was a prestige course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, it needs to be fully restored to bring it back to its former glory that would attract more players.

A nice resort with wonderful friendly staff, we stayed for 8 days and they couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Food was in the main excellent, and the drinks options very good, cocktails from the pool bar are really nice. There were plenty of events to go to throughout the day and we really enjoyed the river tubing trip nearby. The Establishment over the road is a good alternative for a change of scenery, great food and prices there too.
