Hotel Amélie

Great town centre location near the Meribel cable-car connection. Underground parking.

After a heavy snowfall, needed to wait till 11 a.m before being able to exit the underground car-park.

Great location. Good restaurant and bar. Helpful reception team. Ski storage arrangements OK. The WiFi was good, the room very clean and appropriately comfortable. Super close to the Bride Les Bain lift station, 30 minutes ride to the heart of Meribel.

The bar was woefully short staffed. One lady only, very adept at ignoring those waiting to order for ages. She would busy herself with other orders and bar tidying while totally blanking me (the same for others waiting). It just needed a 'hi, will be with you shortly' to avoid the customer feeling invisible! She was undoubtedly efficient but to wait (twice) way over 15 minutes just standing there in hope is not good. The hotel needs to staff the bar properly.

Tout était parfait et le personnel de l accueil était très aimable et souriant ainsi que le personnel du restaurant également avec une personne en particulier en cuisine qui avait beaucoup d humour, ce qui n est pas négligeable en cette période particulièrement anxiogène. Un grand merci

excellent location, ski lockers that were free, limited free parking, linked entry off the hill making it easier to enter the hotel

the room sliding door did not fully close, not a big problem, but did mean the room heater was on perhaps more than necessary drying out the room. The sink faucet was a bit short and constantly put water on the counter, but easy enough to wipe off.
