It was handy to have a washing machine, and we kept our bicycles downstairs locked up, which was great. Close to shops and main attractions. Had everything to do cooking. And food shop was only 10mins walk.

Volterra is a beautiful place and the apartment is located inside of the gate. It's quiet and full of characters. The building was built in the 1600s and if you like that, you'd enjoy "living in history". Annalisa was also kind and extremely helpful. We took the bus to Volterra and got there around noon. She let us check in earlier. She gave us a lot of good recommendations on what to do and where to eat. You can't ask for a better host.
