Hotel Astoria Superior

We are very thankful to hotel management team, we have a great room with balcony. I needed a relaxing vacation, and hotel Astoria is heaven to relax, have wonderful dinner & breakfast, enjoy the beauty of swiss Alps. I am very thankful to the team/Oliver, and hope to visit soon again!

Kleines und feines Hotel in ruhiger Lage von Arosa .Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Inhaberfamilie. Gemütliche Zimmer mit Holzparkettboden. Für Skifahrer bestens gelegen. Die Talstation Tschuggen Ost und die Weisshornbahn sind in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt und komme gerne wieder

very nice hotel in arosa ! we had a lovely stay and enjoyed every single day we stayed there! the breakfast is very nice as well with very good quality of products! the rooms are very comfortable. the hostes is very kind as well and very professional! will definatelly stay there again in the future!

Loved the stay at this family operated hotel. The rooms are comfortable and food excellent. Quality of produce served at breakfast is to be appreciated and option of eggs cooked to order is not expected. Wishing Oliver and his team all the best.

I stayed with my wife in Astoria hotel for 10 days at the beginning of March and we have never disappointed with this choice. Thanks to the owners, Edith&Oliver Schmidt and their team, Astoria Hotel provides their guests with home atmosphere; warm welcoming, clean and cozy guest rooms and public areas, delicious meal for breakfast and dinner. All dinners during our stay were different as far as atmosphere and kind of meal is concerned. We were lucky to get the south-facing room with balcony and could everyday enjoy a stunning unrestricted 180-degrees view on the mountains. The hotel is located some 5-7 minutes walk from the railway station and two ski-lifts. But 2 times during snowing days we could easily return on ski right to the hotel ski-room! So, if you are in Arosa whatever the season, please do not hesitate and make up your choice in Astoria Arosa Hotel favor.

The Astoria is a very nice but low-key family hotel. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and nicely appointed with great views and many with balconies. The bar and restaurant were lively and the food and service were excellent. It's located a few blocks from the main street of Arosa who h makes it very quiet but it's still a short easy walk to the lift station and ski shops. It's a very good value and we will not hesitate to stay there again.

Our fifth return visit and as ever we were absolutely delighted with the friendly welcome, amazing staff and outstanding food and cozy bar. This really is a lovely hotel and brilliantly situated for the main ski lifts. Thanks to Oliver and Edith for a great holiday.

I usually do not spend time to write a review but Hotel Astoria truly deserve it. Usually I book 4 to 5 stars hotel when my wife is with me me but this time I went alone to ski during the week to take the opportunity of perfect ski conditions. All in all, I decided to book a three star hotel and it turns to be a fantastic experience. I arrived pretty late the night before, park my park front of the hotel entrance and while there is no parking in the hotel they just took care about it without me even asking. I was upgraded, the room was nice, very clean and very quiet. Breakfast was good. In the evening I did enjoy a very nice, small but very well designed and modern spa. When looking for dinner, and after my usual 30 min search for the right restaurant (Food is essential (if not an obsession would say my wife..) for dinner, I decided to stay in the hotel based on the reviews (which never ever happen to me). All in all it was a fantastic experience, the family had planned a special theme night buffet: the variety, the quality, the passion that the family and the team put was just unbelievable... (for Americans: imagine the Las Vegas Caesars palace Bachanal buffet as per Swiss standard). Bottom line the restaurant was full, the crew was very friendly and everything was done for you to enjoy.. having lived in Switzerland for quite a while, first time I see this in a ski station. Really a 3 stars hotel I would definitely recommend and come back to.
