Club Wyndham SeaWatch Resort

Everything at the Sea Watch Plantation was as good or better than other Wyndham vacation properties I've been to. I will return.

My grandson is stationed at the Naval Base near Charleston and was able to get leave for the Thanksgiving holiday this year. We made reservations in September for two 2 bedroom deluxe units in the towers. Today, we learned that we have been moved to the villas and had no chance to be placed the towers, given any upgrades, or receive adjoining units. We have family coming from all over the country to celebrate Thanksgiving together, and the failure of the resort to either move us to one of their many towers, reserve adjoining/lockout units, or give us an upgrade has been the most frustrating experience in all my travels. I could not even be guaranteed an oceanview on an upper level in one of the villas or assigned Villa or Room Numbers----even though it is possible to reserve a precise room number on the website. Do not expect any personal assistance with Seawatch's front desk or reservations because you will be transferred back and forth between the two and get no solution in the end. VIP Founders in Club Wyndham is worthless. And there will be less thanks in our family for Thanksgiving at this resort.

The administrative team greeted us professionally and like they were glad to see us. My family and I definitely enjoyed the room and the beach. It was clean, well kept, and supplies were plentiful. The beach was beautiful and clean. There were cart patrollers at the beach to make sure that everything was in compliance. We wore wristbands that also served as keys to the room. There are contactless snack stores, bond fire, and they offered restaurant buffet that served omelets and waffles (yummy)! They also allowed text if you need them for anything and to remind you of certain things. Easy breezy.

I didn't like how my family and I were greeted at Captain Cove restaurant by the young woman who we paid our money to. The greeter there was cold like she didn't want to be there. We almost turned around, but Danielle was the server, and she greeted us with a smile and she was awesome. She helped us to feel at home with a great meal. I understand that this buffet is not own or managed by Sea Watch, but they do serve their clients. Also, somethings were closed due to the weather or change in the season, but that is understandable.

Staff were exceptionally pleasant. Resort was peaceful and clean. Perfect location and will plan to visit again.

Great location with a beautiful view of the beach on the 2 balconies and easy access to the beach. Lots of amenities. Unit was clean, well equipped and fairly updated. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back!

Was very disappointed in the fact of no handicap units. However, staff very accommodating in moving me to a unit very close to the pool and beach.
