Crowne Plaza Budapest by IHG

We had a brilliant stay with my family at this hotel, we are a family of 2 adults and 2 children. This was for a special birthday to which hotel staff brought a beautiful cake and sparkling wine to celebrate. The location is great as the underground station is at the end of the street. Ask for a underground map and you can work out where you need to be. We got 24 hr travel passes which were reasonable and dont need validating. Accomodation was brilliant. We had a suite with a double pull out bed and a double bed. It was a brilliant sized room complete with beautiful rituals toiletries. You can go out of the back door and enter westend shopping centre where there are various shops along with a pharmacy and a dr that resides upstairs. Staff were brilliant and welcoming. Breakfast was brilliant with continental and hot breakfast avaialable. Waffles and eggs benedict could be made to order. Also if you are a ihg member you have access to a bar uostairs with free drinks and coffee and small snacks. The outside bar is a rooftop terrace. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this hotel. I am so sad our holiday is over but would go back to budapest in a heartbeat. Thanks crowne plaza. We had an amazing stay.

Super hotel, staff from front desk to housekeeping are very friendly and professional. The welcome note and bottle of wine on arrival was a very nice gesture. The hotel is spotless and central. My family stayed in a suite which was more than adequate for 3. We also had access to the Club Lounge from 5-7pm where complimentary refreshments and small bites were served, this was very relaxing after a long day exploring Budapest. The breakfast is one of the best we have received from any hotel we have stayed in throughout Europe! Will definitely return and make this our base once again.

Excelente hotel, lovely team and excellent location. I went there to spend my birthday with my family and the team in special Barby made the day extra special with a cackle and a bottle of sparkling wine in the room. Even the bar team were super attentive and genuine. I would definitely comeback to stay here.

Great stay at this well located hotel. Perfectly located attached to the mall and central train station. Did not hear any noise from outside in the evenings. Would like to give a special thank you to Diana and Flora. They both were fantastic during the breakfast service. They really made our day. In the Executive Lounge, Levi did a great job taking care of everyone. He also took the time to give us some information on Budapest that was very helpful. Management should take the time and recognize the hard word work that Diana, Flora, and Levi are doing. The hotel would not be the same without them.
