H10 Tindaya

Stayed in end of February / early March 15. Peacful location right next to a great beach. Staff were great and hotel was well equipped.

Great hotal with friendly helpful staff, spa, entertainment and great location - just what we needed - we really enjoyed our stay. I havent stayed at a H10 hotel before but would return here and certainly consider staying in one of their others after this holiday. Costa Calma doesnt have the bars & restaurants of other resorts so would advise going or upgrading to all-inculsive.

Lovely setting and plenty of amenities, although many clientele are Italian or German most speak English. The choice of food is great and the fact cocktails are included is a bonus. Would stay again and would use the activities more next time. However the site is windy by fuerteventura standards so take a windbreak

Lovely hotel in front of a lovely sandy beach. The food was excellent with a wide selection to suit all tastes. The hotel facilities were very good but night time entertainment left a lot to be desired. My one complaint is that as half board residents we were told off for pouring a glass of water from one of the water fountains located in the dining room. Apparently the water is only for all inclusive residents. Apart from that the staff were courteous and helpful. The drinks bought at the hotel were very reasonably priced in fact cheaper than some of the bars in the resort.

The hotel is large and quite impressive on arrival if somewhat dangerous due to the unusual rainfall on our arrival, paths and floors were all very slippy to summer weather footwear and quite dangerous. Staff were pleasant, helpful and welcoming and all maintained their smiles and service throughout our stay. Hotel in general was very good, clean and well maintained all round. Our only disappointment was the somewhat dated room decor, badly worn floor tiles although not broken or dangerous. The fridge that goes off when room key removed and the rubbish TV. 2 English speaking channels, Sky News and BBC News out of 40 ish, poor !! The food may not be all you'd like but was fresh, well presented and with plenty of choice so was always well fed on leaving the dining room. The heavy rain played havoc with activities but that wasn't on our agenda so can't comment on those. Perhaps I missed something when booking but the hotel was listed as being Around Puerto del Rosario when it was actually 70 km away. After finding out thanks to Google Earth I booked a car which turned out to be essential. There is a small village with store nearby but anything else needs travel. A livelier area with eating, drinking and some entertainment was about 20 mins away by car. If you are happy to stay put, sunbathe and use the hotel facilities then this should suit, if you like to get out and about get a car or go elsewhere.

The reception staff were fantastic & very welcoming. The place was filthy except the bedrooms . The floors were filthy , the outside pool area was disgusting n filthy. No cleaners to be seen anywhere. All food was stone . Staff not interested in you.

The hotel was clean, spacious and had very friendly staff who were always smiling and happy to help. The facilities were of a good standard. The rooms had plenty of space with a good bed and a nice balcony with a view of the sea. Lots of room to sunbath outside and 2 minutes from a very nice beach.

I just came back from a 5 day stay and I have to mention a couple of issues: The food is quite average (is not a 4 star hotel food) The spa is not included in the price and you have to pay separately 12 Euros per person We had 4 days of rain and we had damp patches in the walls and water leaking through the bathroom lighting. We are still waiting for an apology although we did mention it in reception

We stayed at this hotel for a week in November and I must say it was excellent. It was very clean, staff was lovely. Facilities are perfect for a families and couples who are looking for a nice and relaxing holidays. It is not a good place if you are looking for clubs and pubs. There is plenty to choose from at the breakfast and dinner, the only down side is that you need to pay for drinks during dinner if you are on Half Board. At the breakfast all drinks are included. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

My wife and I stayed at the H10 Tindaya hotel for our 39th wedding anniversary, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we found the whole hotel area clean and the food choice was excellent. The only gripe I have is what really annoys me about hotels (this one included) is that they all have the same policy regarding the reservation of sunbeds by selfish guests with towels. This hotel states the same thing in their welcome folder, however when you go down after breakfast dozens of beds, usually the ones that are with an umbrella are reserved by some selfish guest, a lot of them are reserved ALL day while they decide to go on trips and then by not allowing others who want to relax by using them. some even return late in the afternoon and don't bother using the bed at all! If the hotel stuck to the 'No Reserve' Rule and had the pool man who is sitting next to his supply of towels all day with nothing else to do remove the towels it would stop the utterly selfish guests from spoiling others relaxation. The only other gripe is the fact that yet another hotel charges to use the sauna areas, some hotels don't and it generally gets used and enjoyed by guests, but when they charge like this hotel (12 euros per couple) it tends to be empty all day, yet the hotel pays to keep it heated for hours all day, doesn't make any sense. But overall we really enjoyed the stay, the beach is very close at the back of the hotel 5 minute walk, but be warned it also has nudism bathing. No problem for me.
