Wonderful room and great location in the village. The decor is nice with well designed rooms, a big bath and decent kitchen in the 1 bedroom + loft suite. Everyone is friendly. The one thing that could be better is the breakfast. The setting was uninspired and the food offerings felt quite average. There were too many single-use plastics (yogurt, jams, butter, pork rillettes, juice glasses, even individually wrapped boiled eggs). I brought my own bread and cheese, in the hope of engancing the joyless experience. Considering the premium mid-December pricing of $3000 for a 3 night stay, I had expected a higher-quality and more sustainable food offering.

We loved the location, it was ideal, right in the heart of the village and just steps from the main gondola lift. The fresh cookies in the lobby were a thoughtful and welcoming touch. Breakfast was delicious, and the breakfast attendants did an excellent job keeping the area clean, organized, and well stocked. Sylwia at the front desk was especially helpful. She patiently answered all of my questions and assisted with a room upgrade request, which was a wonderful and much-appreciated surprise.

Unfortunately, housekeeping did not meet expectations. We requested vacuuming and a general room refresh multiple times, and it was only addressed on the final day of our stay and even then, the service was minimal at best. It would have been helpful to have a water station in the changing area near the jacuzzi and sauna. Additionally, having to retrieve towels from the front desk was inconvenient; on more than one occasion we arrived at the jacuzzi area assuming towels would be available nearby, only to realize we needed to return to the front desk. The property also shows noticeable wear and tear, and a renovation should be considered. The shower grout was blackened, closet doors were difficult to open and appeared to be coming off their hinges (a bifold door may be more practical than the current slider), and there was a significant draft coming from the balcony window that kept the room cold throughout the day. Additionally, the bottom of the full-length mirror on the back of the bathroom door was warped and should be replaced.
