San Agustin El Dorado

Great breakfast, location, beds and linen. Supportive staff (they even called our tour agency when they realized we were waiting for too long at the lobby). They kept our luggages for some hours until the check-in and also after the check-out. the shower works fine. The hotel offers a breakfast box for clients who wake up early for the tours (you should consider it as most of the tours start quite early in the morning, like 4/5pm, such as Laguna Humantay and the Mountain of Collors).

Bathroom facilities are a little bit old. There is a fabric curtain in the bathtub and as it doesn't close completely, the bathroom tends to flood. There is no air conditioning in the hotel, which is not usual for a 4-star hotel.

Personnel was not courteous or willing to help. Bed was uncomfortable

Rooms are very outdated. I've stayed her twice and on both occasions, I specifically requested a double bed room because I have chronic pain and have found that a double bed allows me to get into a more comfortable position. However, on both occasions I got a twin room.

Location was close to historical center. Ok for the money it costs. Guacamole for breakfast was awesome.

In general its not a 4* hotel so if it is compared to other four stars, it is overrated.. Only one person at reception was capable to speak english well. One day the room was not made even all day a request was on the door. At breakfast it was always a feeling that I owe something to the hotel - all selections were poor and almost finished even just brought by the personnel. Omelet was cold :(( it is the worst omelet I used to eat ever.. guys, you have heated trays.. why the heating option is not used??

Superb breakfast options. Comfortable seating. Secure and comfortable.

The property was fine but even though there were no guests the staff refused a late check-in.

The bed could have been cleaned a bit better

The only negative was stating in rooms on the street. We were kept up to due cars driving over a grate in the street
