Jardín del Edén Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

Nice adult only option in Tamarindo. The rooms are dated as others have noted, but they were clean and the bed was comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, the pools are lovely, and service was good as well. Food was average. It was unfortunate there was a group celebrating a 30th birthday who monopolized the pool and were also quite loud at dinner taking away from the lovely calm atmosphere we enjoyed prior to their arrival. Not sure we would return, but did enjoy our stay for the most part.

The staff were friendly, gracious and helpful. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful setting with delicious food. We recommend staying here.

A boutique hotel with friendly staff, lovely gardens, excellent position and clean rooms. The hotel is set back from the main road with a path way through gardens to the beach. It’s an excellent location for Tamarindo shops and for the beach. The gardens and the pool are great. One deep pool great for swimming and one shallower pool next to the bar and restaurant. The hotel is half board with the menu for dinner given at breakfast. The restaurant was very helpful in providing a good choice of vegetarian food. Special mention for Andy who made our anniversary meal very special.

We Stayed at the Jardin Del Eden over the Christmas holiday and can honestly say it was one of the best vacations we ever had. The hotel is absolutely beautiful making you feel like you are in the middle of a tropical rainforest. Very quiet and secluded with 5 star food and service. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and downtown thru a private entrance . Kevin and Andy went above and beyond at the tiki bar on the beach property to make our stay extra special,helping us with everything from arranging horseback riding on the beach to obtaining a dinner menu for a special request. We can't wait to go back next year!!

Great service, great accommodations, great food. Endy, Kevin, and all the staff did a great job! We will come back for another visit.

We came here on our honeymoon over Christmas this year. The place is very beautiful! Howler monkeys in the trees while eating breakfast. A view of the ocean from your patio. A private garden area right on the beach! Food was amazing as well. Highly recommend

This was our second time at the hotel, two years in a row! It is an awesome find in so many ways. Beautiful grounds, food is excellent. Location is perfect and very walkable to town. It was nice to see many of the same employees at the hotel. I suspect that we will be back next year as many of our friends want to travel there with us!

Hotel grounds are beautiful, a true oasis. Rooms were clean and nice but not luxurious- but all of the staff made the hotel feel like a luxury resort. The included breakfast buffet was good, and the dinners were excellent. Each night was a choice of 2 starters and main meal and each night the food was as good as or better than other restaurants in town. The beach is only a 4 minute walk down a path from the rooms and a nice private sitting area with beach bar was great.

Let me tell you… this place is so wonderful!! My husband and I came here for an early anniversary trip and it was so great! You get breakfast AND dinner here included.. and the food was delicious!! We were not disappointed AT ALL!! The whole resort is beautiful! It’s a tropical oasis! The location is so convenient! You walk down a path to get to the Main Street and the private beach area is right across the street. There’s beach chairs, a small pool, bathrooms, an outdoor shower, and the best part a bar with the best bartenders and staff! Andy, Laura, and Kevin are the best!! Kevin was the best bartender!! So friendly, funny, had great stories ,and made the best drinks. When he’s not busy, you have to ask for the Kevin specials.. the FAFO was my favorite. Our room was spacious, clean and located right next to the pool and restaurant. The hotel is in a great location because it’s right in town. You don’t have to drive a car to get to all the shops, restaurants, bars, or beach. The cost was definitely worth it especially because it includes breakfast and dinner. It was peaceful and never noisy except for the occasional howler monkey calls that were actually cool to hear. And again all the staff are very friendly and are there to help you with what you need. We are sad to leave because Jardín de Eden helped make our Costa Rican anniversary relaxing and memorable!! We definitely want to return! Muchas gracias Jardín de Eden!! PURA VIDA!! Linda y Johnny

This beautiful resort and the welcoming staff is 5 stars. I researched hours on where to stay for my 30 year anniversary and it exceeded my expectations. Our ocean view room was wonderful and the daily breakfasts and dinners were incredible. Thank you Andy for your warm hospitality and accommodating my early mornings with cappuccinos and coffee. Thank you Elizabeth for putting extra ingredients in my daily omelette and serving them with your big beautiful smile. Can’t wait to return!
