Jardín del Edén Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

We had a nice stay for two nights at Jardin del Eden in Tamarindo. The hotel grounds are spectacular with a beautiful pool, tons of plants, and a lovely restaurant. The breakfast and dinner offerings were good, and the hotel had fun things to do including yoga, sound healing, and salsa classes. The private beach area is lovely. We even saw howler monkeys in the trees outside our room! The rooms themselves were somewhat minimal, and the beds were not very comfortable but overall this was a great place to stay in Tamarindo!

Wonderful place. Beautiful grounds. Delicious food; amazing breakfast and dinner (included). And staff so very friendly and accommodating! Will definitely come back!

This is my second visit toJardín del Eden, it feels like a White Lotus location, each time is better. I haven’t feel more relaxed and mellow since the first time I was there. The place is unique, the surroundings are peaceful and quiet, the hotel was full but it doesn’t feel crowded. I enjoyed walking thru the secret passage to the beach and the beach lounge and bar is amazing. The staff is genuine and cheerful. Definitely one of the best place I’ve ever stayed and will book again.

The hotel offers the perfect retreat for relaxation and culinary experiences. I arrived alone, but thanks to the wonderful team I never felt lonely. Such cheerful and helpful people. A beautiful and quiet resort with great service we opted for the included breakfast and dinner option. We ate breakfast every morning at the restaurant which did not disappoint and we also had dinner on site which was great as well. One night we used the $40 voucher offered to eat at one of the sister restaurants Nearby owned by the same hospitality company, which was also great. The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved our servers and bartenders Kevin, Daniella, and Natalie. The classes in the wellness space were also great. We loved our salsa class with Monica and the breath work class as well. The front desk was friendly unhelpful as well. Jeremy and Leonardo greeted us with smiles and the Pura Vida spirit. Overall, it was beautiful. The amenities were clean and sufficient for a reasonable price and good food.

Leonardo checked us in and was very helpful with where to find everything at the hotel and signing us up for the Wellness Activities for the weekend. The food is amazing and we loved Natalie, Daniella and Andy. They helped us out every day when we stayed by the pool or dined in. Kevin is one of the best bartenders Ive ever met, not only did he make good drinks and shots, he was so friendly and always made sure we had a full drink. We took Yoga in the morning with Javiera who taught beginner which was great for me, followed by Breathwork which helped me to learn new ways of breathing, and then Salsa class with Monica. We had SO MUCH FUN dancing salsa, bachata AND Merengue. She is an amazing dancer and was very hands on helping us get the steps while having a great time. We each had a massage, I had Molly who listened to exactly what I needed for a deep, relaxing massage and my friend had Jessica who was also a great masseuse. Molly also rescued us from an aggressive, hungry iguana when we were laying in a daybed. Jeremy at the front desk also helped with any questions we had about having dinner outside the hotel. And Ricardo made the best margaritas out by the beach! Overall we loved this hotel and every body was so pleasant and took great care of us. We will be back next year for sure :).

My husband and I just enjoyed five amazing nights at Jardín del Edén Boutique Hotel. What really set this property apart was the attentiveness of the staff. From check-in to daily breakfasts and evening meals—both exceptional—to cocktails down at the beach, the service was always above and beyond. The property is simply gorgeous. Set back from the busyness of town yet only steps away, our time there felt like a true escape. One morning, while having coffee on our balcony, we watched a family of monkeys scamper across the rooftops below. At the pool, iguanas lounged in the sun as if they’d claimed the place for themselves. Down at the beach, there were plenty of chairs, and the private bar area and plunge pool were perfect. Even though the hotel was full, the space was so well laid out that we often felt like we had it to ourselves. During our stay, we went on daily walks, took a catamaran snorkeling trip, enjoyed an amazing day of sportfishing, and watched beautiful sunsets from the privacy of Jardín del Edén’s beachfront garden. So if you’re looking for a relaxing retreat that still gives you access to everything the area has to offer, this is the place.

We loved our stay at Jardín del Edén! The property is absolutely beautiful and the staff were amazing. Leo at the front desk went above and beyond — he even called and confirmed all of our tours for us, including the ones we didn’t book through the hotel. All of our tours had an easy time pulling right up to the reception area, which made things super convenient. Breakfast was insane (in the best way). The beachside pool with the bar felt like such a luxury, and dinners at the hotel were fantastic. We also did a massage, pedicure, and facial. The deep-tissue massage was great — we honestly wish we’d booked the 80-minute one. The facial was just okay, not amazing but still relaxing overall. The only downside was there’s no one to help carry luggage up and down the stairs, and the property has a few hills and staircases that might be tricky if you have mobility issues. But the location itself is super walkable with plenty of local shops and restaurants nearby. Overall, it’s my favorite boutique hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We’d absolutely come back and already have talked about planning it for the future!
