Terrific service. Clean & quiet but just steps from “ Main Street “ Tamarindo.

Absolutely stunning resort. The private beach area was so nice! It had plenty of shade, a small pool (the cold temperature felt amazing during the hot day), daybeds with soft shades, and a full bar with the option to order food! The pool within the hotel was extremely nice. The resort is absolutely pristine and we saw staff cleaning the floors and pool all day throughout the property. The only feedback I would give is on Friday morning there weren't many protein options other than the omelette station. Having some other proteins (sausage, ham, vegan protein) would have been nice!

After several months of research for our first time visiting Costa Rica, we chose Jardín del Edén Boutique Hotel for our 7-night stay in early Aug, ‘25. Partially based on great reviews, so thought it’s only fitting to share the reviews did not disappoint. Location: An absolute breathtaking hotel. The grounds are well maintained, beautiful greenery throughout. Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Benefits of a smaller hotel, there is always daybeds and chairs (in sun or shade) available, both at the pool and beach front. A short 3 minute walk down the hotel’s private shaded path and you are at the main street through Tamarindo, either cross to get to the beach front area or walk to a ton of shops and restaurants. Rooms: We had a Superior Ocean view room with an amazing view of the ocean and sunset. Bed was comfortable but only a top sheet is provided, there is an extra blanket in the closet. Nice size bathroom with a walk-in shower. Robes and slippers were provided. Staff: Almost every team member we encountered made our stay that more better. Very nice and you got the feeling they really wanted us to enjoy ourselves. Checked in Day 1 with Leo, who really set the tone for what we were in store for the rest of the trip. Very friendly and always checked in on us as we passed by the front desk. The restaurant staff, both breakfast and dinner were awesome. I wish I took note of all their names. They had our room numbers memorized by night 2. Our bartenders Kevin and Allan were the best of the best. I believe it’s Geniva, this wonderful lady in the Spa who provided a pedicure and the most amazing Hot Stone message!! She was great. And Javiera, our Wellness Instructor provided an awesome Sound Healing experience and we really enjoyed her morning Yoga sessions. Restaurant: Breakfast is buffet style with all your essentials, yogurts, pastries, cereals, made-to-order eggs and a variety of additional items by the day. The tropical fruit choices each day were tasty. Although you only had a choice of 2 options for dinner each night, we found every plate we had was delicious. It was always a choice of either a seafood or a meat. There are no water stations (other than mealtimes). There is a Supermarket a few doors down from the resort where stocked up on bottled water. Weather: August is considered rainy season. Forecast called for rain at 40%+ all 7 days of our visit, it rained/stormed one day in the early afternoon until around dinner. There is an umbrella in each room, nice amenity for walking to the restaurant. We booked airport transportation and an excursion through the tour desk. Both were easy and it was nice having it all done through the hotel. When I visit Costa Rica again, I will for sure stay at Jardín del Edén again!!!

Our first time in Costa Rica and we absolutely loved this boutique resort. The place is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. The food was excellent. If you’re thinking of staying here don’t hesitate you won’t be disappointed!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Grounds are beautiful, food was delicious, staff were friendly and helpful. We have no hesitation recommending this property. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

We stayed three nights at Jardin Del Eden during our recent trip to Costa Rica. We were tired after a long journey from the Arenal region. We were greeted with cool towels and a choice of beverage. Check in was quick and courteous. We were struck by the beautiful view in the lobby of the hotel. It looks down over gardens to a view of the ocean. Hotel The grounds are lovely with gardens of flowers, lush greenery and humming birds flitting around. It is all well maintained. It is a small hotel so the restaurant and pools are centrally located. There is a walking path to the beach, it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the lobby to the beach. It is an easy walk down but there is a small incline to come back. If you have issues with stairs this resort may not be the right match for you because there were several stairs to climb to get from the restaurant to the main lobby and some of the rooms. We didn’t mind the extra exercise. The path leads to a small beach area exclusive to the hotel. It has lounge chairs, umbrellas, a plunge pool and a bar. The beach is big and beautiful with great sunsets. You can also walk to many shops and restaurants. Food This hotel includes both breakfast and dinner. That was a great option because meals out can be expensive. Breakfast had a typical buffet with omelets, eggs, fruit and other breakfast options. Each morning they will give you a choice of two dinner options as well as two appetizer options. You also reserve your time for dinner. The food was adequate. Some dishes were better than others but it was filling, you get a lot and you also get dessert. My husband enjoyed skirt steak and I had snapper one night and pasta dish the other. Our last night we went out to dinner at a local restaurant to celebrate our last night Room The room was pretty, we had a balcony that had chairs and loungers. It was full of flowers and greenery and we enjoyed watching the humming birds. The bathroom was a bit small, there was a very small area to put toiletry bags and the shower was pretty small, my husband barely fit but we laughed about it. The AC worked great. There was not a blanket or comforter on the bed (just a top sheet) . We did find a blanket in the closet we used and then we requested another because it was not enough for the king sized bed. The mattress on our bed was VERY FIRM, we actually prefer a firmer mattress but this one was down right uncomfortable for us. Service and Staff They all worked very hard and were kind and professional. The woman that cooked our omelets was very nice each morning. Music The restaurant and the beach both played music. Sometimes it was a good level for background music but sometimes it was really loud. One day at the beach we were enjoying the sound of the waves and the birds and a radio was turned on loud, drowning out the nature sounds. I don’t think this is everyday because the next day we got to enjoy the beach sounds without the music. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this lovely resort and we would come back.

Excellent service. Not too large. Quiet. Great location. Three minutes from beach. Private pool with bar beachside. Not crowded. Friendly staff. Front desk staff very efficient and accommodating. Kudos to Leo, Dylan, and Monse. We would also like to recognize Alan from the pool bar next to the beach.

I can’t recommend Jardín Del Eden enough. From the second we checked in to the minute we left, everything was taken care of. The staff was kind and friendly, the food was incredible, and the location with the pool and ocean front lounge chairs and bar screamed luxury. Definitely one of my favorite hotels of all time!
