The Inn at Aspen

Very nice hotel. Although we didn't use the shuttle but the use of a shuttle to various areas is a convenience esp when visiting Aspen.

My room had overflow sewage from the sink. I asked to have it fixed and was told 5 minutes, they never came therefore I used the shower for temp sink use.

Nice staff, units and overall hotel but they are not transparent and seemingly "hide" whatever they can to make it look like the hotel is fully operational. The entire complex is under construction, scaffolding everywhere and the hot tub/pool is not open and besides a tiny 8pt font at the top of their website, you'd have no idea as it lets you book without any knowledge of the construction. That level of lack of transparency is ownerships responsibility and it's shame they do it and make the staff deal with the consequences of unsatisfied guests. Overall quality stay, just immensely disappointed with the false advertising and "is what it is" about the state of the hotel as of 07/07/25.

Good facility with best amenities and transpotation to all nearby areas

The property was on dark construction and we did not know it so the hot tub and pool were closed and there was construction going on during the day. Other than that it was beautiful. Quiet restaurant was nice facility was clean no worries.

Rooms are recently renovated and perfectly appointed. Staff is great and the lobby is very inviting. The onsite barbecue restaurant is a favorite of mine from my time in Charleston, S.C. and adds a unique dining and bar experience. Loved it all.

We booked this knowing the pool and spa where under construction. What they didn't tell us was the whole place was under construction. It was actually hard to find parking among the work trucks and construction materials. That wasn't the worst part however. The whole place was a callback to the 1980s, at best. The room barely had enough light to find your way around and about half of everything in our room didn't work. The other half functioned, but it the dumbest way possible. For instance, climbing into and out of the "shower" tub, which leaked like a sieve, required a certain amount of dexterity to lift you leg up and over something about waist high. It was like someone decided to design something 1980's "cool", without any regard to functionality. Another example was there was a bidet in the door-less toilet room. It was completely nonfunctional however with all water turned off and all the spouts taped over. The normal toilet barely functioned, which was true for pretty much everything else in the room that actually worked, including the lumpy bed. We ate at the attached "BBQ" place, which had some of the worst BBQ I've ever had. Not even the sauces couldn't save the bland and dry BBQ they served. The ONLY positive is I didn't find any bed bugs. It was a low bar. We stayed next at a Super 8 motel in another town, and it was a huge step up if that says anything.
