Great hotel next to airport

From the moment we arrived at this hotel in Aspen for the day/night, we were immediately disappointed. They gave no inclination that the hotel is currently under renovations, so several amenities were not in use. The TV in our room was broken and the internet was spotty. These are just minor things though. Our room was located right next to the coffee area and it was SO loud. No one was respectful with their volumes well into the night- I’m talking 2am wake up calls to loud guests. Plus, don’t bother going to the BBQ restaurant on location because the bartenders were extremely rude. I’m talking practically refused to serve us despite us sitting at the bar for 20 minutes. The girl bartender had the worst attitude with customers and the male completely ignored us. We finally sat at a table and were served quickly. It was just extremely disappointing of a stay and we do not recommend.

The hotel is very nice. It is clean and the rooms are good size. The down side is there are current renovations going on and the pool and hot tub are closed. It does not say that anywhere and we did not receive an email. The website says theres renovations, but nothing about the pool area. Also, the balcony on the rooms is closed off. We werent told until check in. It was why we chose this hotel

Great location, beautiful area, really enjoyed the free espresso machine.

Very noisy. Lots of construction going on. Walks are paper thin. I could hear other guests, coughing, talking, laughing, sneezing, farting, having sex, opening and shutting doors… All night long. I’m usually a heavy sleeper, but I got little to no sleep at this hotel.

The property had spacious lobby with comfortable seating and delicious coffee bar. The rooms were large, but nothing fancy. The property sits on a nice area with a beautiful backyard.

Pros: Located less than 10 minute drive to downtown Aspen and minutes from airport; surrounded by God's natural beauty; resort like lobby; free parking; diligent housekeeping staff; room was renovated well, very clean, firm beds, spacious bathroom, newer toilet & shower, non-slip shower floor, quality toiletries, 4 large towels, bathrobe; picnic table; balcony; complimentary espresso machine near lobby; e-bikes, shuttle. Cons: Check-in time is 4pm; not all front desk staff act with high level professionalism as one would expect at this level hotel; building renovations on-going so expect hammering & drilling from 8am. Conclusion: Overall good value, convenient location, relatively affordable compared to overpriced hotel options in downtown Aspen. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again.

There is construction right now and there are noises early on and throughout the day. The shuttle was very easy to get around and not to worry about parking and the app was good. There was really no view nor would you want windows open because of the construction.

There was construction outside the entire hotel. Wish i could have know prior. Hot tub and pool was shut down (reason i selected this hotel). outlet on bathroom wall has to against code - as i could see the wires and wire connections. Drywall was falling off the ceiling above the shower - disgusting. Room was clean. Larger than i was expecting - nice! Bed was fairly comfortable - nice! The staff was very kind and helpful. I thought there was construction going on all night - but realized the plumbing in the walls was making noises. A consistent banging (not construction noices).

Overall this hotel has great potential but it’s under construction and it ruined our sleep and our stay. The lobby and rooms are very nice but the entire facade is being renovated and we were awaken each morning to banging and drilling at 8am right outside our window. Why would you put people in room when you know they are going to be disturbed. When checking out the front desk couldn’t care less. Arrival was great. Staff was vey nice. Rooms clean and shower hot. Some other nice amenities and great views…all ruined by hammers and drills at 7:55 am this morning and each day until 5pm. Forget getting any rest on your vacation. If you book try to stay away from all the noise. Didn't know when i booked this in February that July would have issues. Good luck.
