The Inn at Aspen

The people, so nice and helpful. Very nice place, plenty of parking.

Hotel is at Buttermilk/Tiehack area outside Aspen but has a convenient shuttle to and from town with helpful drivers. It is being renovated (needs to be) with scaffolding covering entire hotel and construction all day long. It is supposed to be ready by winter.

You will be spending the night in a construction zone. The building is undergoing significant work including buckets set up within interior hallways to capture water flowing from the ceiling. More than half of the building is enveloped in scaffolding and the parking lot is the staging area for the materials which start at 6am through 7-8pm. Once construction starts at 8am, you will need to put up with hammering and drilling until 5pm. No amenities were available. hotel should not be open during this time and was appalled that it was and still charging such high fees. I would not have booked this many months ago had I known it was an ongoing construction project.

Inn was outside of downtown Aspen and traffic made it hard to get to in timely manner. Shuttle was helpful, but limited in terms of what we could do. Our view was awful …overlooking construction. It was loud at night with kids running through the halls and upstairs thumping on the floor.

I recently stayed at The Inn at Aspen, and I was very impressed with the staff’s hospitality. I made a mistake with my booking, but the hotel manager graciously allowed me to change my reservation without any hassle. The front desk personnel, Roda, and Chey were exceptionally friendly, professional, and courteous—I couldn’t have asked for better support. We dined at the on-site restaurant and enjoyed a barbecue chunk sandwich and St. Louis ribs. Being from Texas, I was skeptical at first, but the barbecue exceeded my expectations—it was truly delicious. That evening, we relaxed outside while a live band played, making for a perfect atmosphere. I also tried the Game Changer cocktail, which was both unique and delightful. I look forward to visiting again in the winter, as the ski-in, ski-out access and beginner-to-intermediate slopes make it a fantastic destination for a cold-weather getaway. The customer service was superb! Everyone at the Inn and the Home Team BBQ was very helpful and took great care of us. We took the shuttle to Aspen and back and that was great as well. Highly recommend this place!

The property is under restoration and still not a bargain
