The location.

It wasn’t as clean as I had expected. Carpet worn and dirty. Bedspread had stains that hadn’t come out.

Hot water in shower didn’t work

Good location for our needs. Very nice that a restaurant is right on property. Also, breakfast is included in the morning. Overall a very positive experience

A caution for elderly guests or guests with some physical limitations. These buildings are old, over 200 years old in a few cases, stairs are steep and stair treads are narrow. They do have ADA accessible rooms available so make sure you ask for one in advance if you think you will need it. We didn't and I ended up needing some assistance on the stairs to our room. By the way, assistance was graciously given and in no way was this a negative impact on our stay. I am elderly and should have known better than to not make a request for accessible accommodations.

The food staff and price were great

The rooms bed were a little hard and the room could have used a little bit of tlc with some drywall work

Longer breakfast time

Nice quaint option. Big chains are not great nearby, so a really pleasant alternative.

Very misleading about included breakfast. JAI is known for the restaurant and it says only open for breakfast to guests. That made me believe the breakfast was at the restaurant. Instead it was plastic wrapped pastry, probably from Costco at the front lobby. This place feels like a B&B. They missed the boat on the 2nd B. Was really disappointed. Either be clearer on the reservation sites or include a real breakfast.

Great location

The room was perfect and the ambiance of a country inn was exactly what we wanted. Dinner in the pub was excellent and the staff were extremely nice.

The driveway should be repaved—look out for potholes. Also, the mini muffins at breakfast should come off the menu. They were not edible.
