Joseph Ambler Inn

Quaint inn with several different buildings. It was winter and room was cozy.

Not a lot of signage but that what makes the inn charming.

I like that its close. I love how beautiful it looks with the history of it.

The parking lot not being taken care of. After it snowed, no one was taking care of the walkways. There was a large hole in my wash rag. The room hadn't been dusted very well. The staff downstairs saif that we couldn't have food upstairs, however when leaving one night for dinner, the staff had a tray with plates and glasses on it that were being brought out from a different room. The breakfast was cold.

Unfortunately, this visit was due to my scheduled surgery at the Lansdale hospital the following morning (Nov. 19). I was not allowed to eat dinner or breakfast (per the surgeon) so we missed what I'm sure would have been a wonderful dinner and breakfast experience! When I checked in, the young lady at the front desk/reception told me that I had been booked in the Thomas Wilson house on the third floor; but when she saw my comment that we would be leaving early in the morning due to surgery, she changed our reservation to the first floor of the Corybeck Cottage. That was very thoughtful of her and we appreciated what she did for us. Our only regret is that we were unable to stay longer. We love this Inn and the entire property! Please thank the young lady/receptionist who was working on Nov. 18 around 5-6 PM for us. Thank you very much!

Delicious food, comfortable room

Probably the most charming hotel I’ve ever stayed into

Property was nice.

The room smelled weird and the bed was horribly hard and uncomfortable. The walls are really thin and we had to listen to another couple arguing til 3 in the morning.
