Stone Gables Inn

We enjoyed the architecture, & looking through the photo book. Its so unique!

We enjoyed our stay so much we are planning another visit. One thing that we would have liked to see more of would be more historical history.

There was no breakfast. Quiet spacious rooms in beautiful quiet neighborhood close to heart of city.

Carpets could be updated in main part of building.

Very pleasant historical building. Extremely comfortable bed. All was convenient and straight forward. Near West Side Market, good restaurants, cafes, etc. Easy code entrance. Good parking.

Our room was on the second floor, so the creaky thin floor above allowed all to be heard, thus frequently disturbing our sleep. Furnishings are less than elegant, but the bed was lovely.

Loved the location. Easy to get around and easy access to downtown. Really loved the easy and secure parking. As a senior solo traveler, felt very safe at this location.

The second floor entrance was difficult to manage from the parking lot in the back. Also, once inside, another flight of stairs with luggage was difficult for me, a senior solo traveler.

The free parking was great and the check-in instructions were very clear. Well equipped communal areas.

The rooms were a little noisy as could hear the next room very clearly.

Absolutely beautiful. We loved the vintage feel of this place. The beds were the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on while traveling. The building is just stunning. Check it out for yourself.

There are only stairs in this building. No elevators. While I did read this in my booking I just wanted to make sure to include in my review for people that must use elevators. There are lots of stairs.
